Washington Commanders players talk to the media as they prepare for the offseason

It’s locker clean out day

It’s locker clean out day for the Washington Commanders players. Their season is over after yesterday’s 38-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Washington finishes the season with a 4-13 record and a 4th place finish in the NFC East. Ron Rivera was fired, and the search for a new coach and head of football operations has begun. Two former executives(NBA and NFL) will lead the search along with managing partner Josh Harris.

The players are ready for change and they are tired of losing. Some thanked Rivera, and told stories about why they respected him, while others were just ready for something different than they’ve been dealing with here. We got some injury updates from players who ended their season on injured reserve. Also a pending free agent talks about what’s next.
