The Washington Commanders entered the second half down 13-10 to the San Francisco 49ers. They got the ball first, but went three and out and punted to the Niners. San Fran scored a touchdown on that drive to take a 20-10 lead. Sam Howell threw an interception on Washington’s next possession. The 49ers got the ball at their own 5 yard line, and drove it 95 yards to score another touchdown. They were up 27-10, but Sam Howell gave the ball right back to them with his second turnover of the game.

There were no more scores after the 49ers last touchdown, and Washington lost 27-10. They fall to 4-12 for the season, and are still on track for a top-4 pick in next year’s draft. They have one game left, a home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
