The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday and they ruled out five players. Three of those players(Charles Leno, Tyler Larsen, Percy Butler) were placed on injured reserve yesterday. Washington also ruled out their starting CBs. Kendall Fuller(knee) and Benjamin St-Juste(concussion) will both be out, and Washington’s depth will be tested against a potent 49ers offense.

The big news this week was the benching of QB Sam Howell for Jacoby Brissett. The veteran is now dealing with a hamstring injury which keeps him on the sideline this week. Howell will get the start, and Washington signed Jake Fromm from the practice squad. Brissett is being designated the team's emergency third QB, which means he could enter the game if there are injuries to Howell and Fromm.

Rookie RB Chris Rodriguez was placed on IR earlier in the week after injuring his ankle last week. Brian Robinson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, and he’ll be making his return to the backfield today.

Washington also signed OT Alex Akingbulu from the practice squad. The Commanders lost two offensive linemen this week. Cornelius Lucas will replace Charles Leno Jr. at left tackle, and Nick Gates will continue starting at center in place of Tyler Larsen. RT Andrew Wylie suffered an elbow injury vs the Jets and was limited in practice all week. He was listed as questionable, and he won't be active. Trent Scott steps in at RT again.

Washington also signed long snapper Tucker Addington to the main roster yesterday. The original plan was to elevate him for the last three games of the season, but he now gets to be on the 53 for the final two games. The Commanders also elevated some secondary help from the practice squad. CB Nick Whiteside II and S Sean Chandler are both active today, and will be reserves and available for special teams work.

TE Cole Turner is inactive today after being up last week. UDFA rookie WR Mitchell Tinsley is inactive for another game. Washington had rookie DE Andre Jones Jr inactive last week, but it's Jalen Harris who wo t be active vs the 49ers today.
