The Washington Commanders are coming off a loss to the New York Jets. They have two more games left in the season. Next up is a home game against the San Francisco 49ers. Ron Rivera named Jacoby Brissett the starting QB, benching Sam Howell yesterday. Washington also announced several roster moves this morning. Rookie RB Chris Rodriguez, Jr. was placed on injured reserve after injuring his ankle last week. LB De’Jon Harris returned to practice yesterday, and he was activated off of injured reserve today.

CB Benjamin St-Juste(concussion) left the Jets game, and remains in the concussion protocol, missing another practice. C Tyler Larsen(knee) and LT Charles Leno(calf) were both out vs the Jets, and continue to miss practice. C Nick Gates and OT Cornelius Lucas will get the start again if both players miss another game. Andrew Wylie suffered an elbow injury last week, and has been limited in practice. OT Trent Scott filled in for Wylie on Sunday when he was missed snaps.

DT John Ridgeway injured his foot during pre-game warmups. He played 31% of the snaps vs the Jets, but didn’t practice yesterday. Ridgeway got a full practice in today, and is likely to play against the 49ers on Sunday.

RB Brian Robinson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. He returned to the practice field yesterday. His participation continues to be limited to individual drills. Antonio Gibson seemed optimistic that Robinson was returning to play on Sunday.

S Percy Butler was on last week’s injury report with an illness that caused him to be listed as questionable for the Jets game. He was limited in yesterday’s practice, but was downgraded to did not practice today. We’ll have to wait until Rivera speaks to the media tomorrow to possibly get an update.
