The Washington Commanders are coming off a loss to the New York Jets. They have two more games left in the season. Next up is a home game against the San Francisco 49ers. Ron Rivera named Jacoby Brissett the starting QB, benching Sam Howell.

Two players received vet rest days. DT Jonathan Allen(foot) and CB Kendall Fuller(knee) both get a day off. Washington had several players get hurt during last week’s loss to the Jets. CB Chris Rodriguez(ankle) and CB Benjamin St-Juste(concussion) both left that game, and didn’t practice today. LT Andrew Wylie(elbow) was also injured on Sunday, but was a limited participant.

Washington lost two offensive linemen during last week’s loss to the Rams. Center Tyler Larsen left the game with a knee injury, and LT Charles Leno suffered a calf injury. Both players missed the Jets game and didn’t practice today. They were replaced by C Nick Gates and OT Cornelius Lucas, and that would likely be the lineup if both players miss more time. OT Trent Scott filled in for Wylie on Sunday when he was injured.

DT John Ridgeway injured his foot during pre-game warmups. He played 31% of the snaps vs the Jets, but didn’t practice today.

RB Brian Robinson has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. He returned to the practice field today, but his participation was limited to individual drills. Washington’s RB group has been dealing with several injuries over the last few weeks, prompting them to re-sign Jaret Patterson to the practice squad.

S Percy Butler was on last week’s injury report with an illness that caused him to be listed as questionable for the Jets game. Today’s report lists him with a wrist injury, and he was limited in practice.

Washington had two players listed as full participants. LB De’Jon Harris has been on injured reserve since 11/22 with a quad injury. Washington opened his 21-day practice window, and he could be activated for the 49ers game. LB David Mayo is listed with a knee injury.
