The Washington Commanders finally scored a touchdown when Reggie Bonnafon dove to hit the pylon. He was ruled down, but it was obviously a touchdown and was overturned. They failed on the two point conversion to tie the game when WR Matt Cole dropped a pass in the end zone from Sam Howell. The team got the ball back with 2:16 left in the game, and Sam Howell had a chance to become a preseason legend by leading the team down the field from their own 16 yard line. That drive failed to result in any points, ending with a 4th down incomplete pass.
Oh no. This ended with the Ravens mascot being carted off. pic.twitter.com/PqspTUHsng— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) August 28, 2022
Anthony Brown continues to air it out vs Washington’s secondary
Dejuan Neal with that coverage, which looked fairly tight but a 50-yard bomb is not going to help his chances.— Chris Russell AKA the ! (@Russellmania621) August 28, 2022
DeJuan Neal getting abused deep

Anthony Brown’s breakout game
Touchdown Baltimore. Anthony Brown runs in the six-yard score to cap off a four-play, 86-yard drive. The score is now 17-6 in Baltimore's favor.— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWC) August 28, 2022
Not a fumble
That sure looked like a pass by Sam Howell rather than a sack fumble. By look like I mean it was a pass. Under review as the Ravens returned the loose ball for a TD.— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) August 28, 2022
Sam Howell continues to make moves

Penalties and a sack kill another drive
The positives of this is overshadowed by the fact that mistakes/penalties have prevented the Commanders from getting in the end zone. https://t.co/BgNf9bzkfl— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWC) August 28, 2022
#Commanders had four offensive penalties and a sack allowed plus nearly a turnover on the first play of that series.— Chris Russell AKA the ! (@Russellmania621) August 28, 2022

Howell seems to have done a nice job getting through his progressions quickly. Gets his feet around. Has been accurate tonight— John Keim (@john_keim) August 28, 2022
Not sure how they ruled him out at the 1. Looked like a touchdown and, if not, should be at the goal-line.— John Keim (@john_keim) August 28, 2022
Touchdown Washington after a challenge from Ron Rivera. Reggie Bonnafon dives into the end zone to cut the score to two, and after a failed two-point conversion, Washington now trails, 17-15— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWC) August 28, 2022

But the 2-point conversion attempt -- Howell to Matt Cole - falls incomplete.
Ravens 22-game winning streak in the balance.
