Thank God It’s Tuesday—Offseason On the Brink S3:E9

On tonight’s show, we continue the offseason journey that is forming the team we will root for in 2022...the Commanders. I’m continuing to say it over and over until it sounds like something that makes more sense. The fact is, until we watch this team play as the Commanders, it simply isn’t real. That’s okay. It’s the third freaking name for our team since July 2020—that is crazy. So, in addition to finding players we actually need, to try and implement improvement that is incredibly necessary, we are also working on the “warming-up-to-the-name” thing that—if we’re being honest—we haven’t had any time to really do.

Luckily for y’all, this is precisely the work for which we got our license to perform seven years ago. Kind of a cross between therapy, analysis and word invention.

We will be calling tonight’s Mary Jo White Fan Club meeting to order right around or before 8:30 PM.

It will just be Kevin and I tonight, and I promise to have everyone mic’ed up ahead of time this week. No promises about those mics being turned on.
