It seems crazy that a small basement show has powered through such a variety of crazy circumstances in the SIX years we have been gathering to discuss the Washington Football Team every Tuesday night. Missing a week here and there one that span was naturally inevitable, but missing for Covid the handful of times we did (including last week) has been especially difficult, as it is the show for us that provides such a welcome distraction from that incredibly real side of life. As we said last week, our thoughts remain with those who have had and are having a rougher go of it than us—we are fully healthy tonight and excited to talk football.
We’ll be coming off of a victory for the rest of the offseason, meaning that each and every Tuesday going forward will be treated—in some small degree—like the Victory Tuesday it...kind of is. I know I speak for most—if not all—of you when I say I would have gladly traded that last win to be in Buffalo’s shoes, but man...that is one tough way to end a season.
Thanks to folks like you, we have one of the best comment boards anywhere, so please join in the conversation, and help us sort through these very familiar feelings. We’re live around 9PM EST:
Hit the board on the show link and help us get this one done. Lessons we are learning from current playoff teams, which former Washington players that are still alive that we are rooting for most and traps that this rebuild could fall into this offseason...all of this on tonight’s episode of Thank God It’s Tuesday, the official Washington Football Team podcast of Hogs Haven.
