Washington Football Team vs Los Angeles Chargers Wednesday Injury Report

Who's dinged up heading into Week 1?

You know football is back when we start getting injury reports in the middle of the week! Luckily for Washington that list is very small. The exclusive list is occupied by everyone's free agent WR signing who has had the side fields of both Richmond and Ashburn named after him this summer.

Curtis Samuel practiced yesterday and returned to the field today only to leave early after it looked like he reinjured himself. Ron Rivera said something just didn't feel right and he was shut down for the day. He declined to even speculate on placing Samuel on injured reserve, but that option is looking more likely after today's practice.

The big name on the injury list for the Chargers is starting RB Austin Ekeler who did not practice today with a hamstring injury. He missed 6 games last year with a similar injury. If he can't play Justin Jackson is the next man up for Los Angeles.
