Wouldn’t be against seeing Davis go under blocks a little more often like this. It’s a risky play, but he has the athletic ability to pull it off and might prevent him from getting stuck on blocks as easily as he has been during preseason. The fracture is to Lawrence’s fifth metatarsal, the bone at the outside of the foot. This likely means it’s a Jones fracture that will require surgery. 8 weeks would be a quick return, but it’s possible we see him again by late November. The risk of re-injury is HIGH #Cowboys
