The injury stories have been big news since Ryan Fitzpatrick left yesterday's game in the 2nd quarter with a right hip injury. The diagnosis was hip subluxation and he has been placed on injured reserve. Fitzpatrick is expected to miss 6-8 weeks while recovering.
Washington was remarkably healthy heading into yesterday's game. Only WR Curtis Samuel was listed all week, and he was placed on IR with a lingering groin injury. We add another offensive starter to the list with RB Antonio Gibson who had his shoulder checked out in the 4th quarter after landing on it. He said he was fine after the game, but this is a short week and it will be something to monitor when the team resumes practicing tomorrow.

Last night, asked about his left shoulder, which docs looked at on the sideline, Gibson said:
"Got a little bruise on it, but other than that, I'm fine."
