The Washington Football Team was #19 on the waiver priority list, but did not have any successful waiver claims. Any players claimed today had to be placed on the claiming team’s 53-man roster. There were several players who seemed to be a good fit for Washington, but the team didn’t commit to any of them yet.

Ron Rivera said the team would be looking at linebacker after the team only kept 4 on their initial 53-man roster. There are still several LBs who are now free agents. The focus now seems to shift to filling out Washington’s 16-man practice squad. Several players that were released yesterday will likely be added.

Antonio Gandy-Golden was a player that a lot of people thought could be picked up by other teams on waivers. He is now a free agent, and could be brought back to the team on the practice squad if he doesn’t get an opportunity somewhere else. Jeremy Reaves is another player who can be added after 4pm today. There will be a lot of activity over the next few days as team continue to reshape their rosters. You can follow all of Washington’s moves here:
