The Washington Football Team continues their offseason practices as they prepare for the season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 12th at FedEx Field. NFL teams are required to cut their rosters down to 53 players by Tuesday, August 31st at 4pm. Teams will be able to form 16 player practice squads the following day.

Per source, DE Shaka Toney will be on the 53-man roster. Quickness, but also: bigger guy who can run and they used him in a lot of special teams roles.
