Notes
I want to ride my bicycle; I want to ride my bike
Sammis Reyes and Temarrick Hemingway riding stationary bikes as the rest stretch.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 18, 2021
Hemingway is out here, first time I’ve seen him since the concussion protocol. On the Ashburn Cycling Team.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) August 18, 2021
Curtis Samuel not participating in individual, to go along with Reyes and Hemingway.
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) August 18, 2021
Curtis Samuel remains on the side field though the groin issue supposedly not an issue. DE Casey Toohill (toe) also on the side.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) August 18, 2021
Sammis Reyes not with the TE unit.
Who’s doing what?
First team offense, and Ereck Flowers is once again the LG for the group during 11v11
— Rhiannon Walker (@InstantRHIplay) August 18, 2021
Bobby McCain also getting a lot of time lately with Landon Collins. Safeties switch depend on the package, but maybe worth noting. https://t.co/embAZenRS8
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) August 18, 2021
Dax Milne and DeAndre Carter got some spin with the first-team offense in 9v9

Fitzpatrick hard count
Offense and defense are down near the 1 yard line going out. Fitzpatrick just got a couple of D-linemen to jump on a hard count and he loved it. Strolled around in front of his teammates and WOOOOOO’d. Best part is this is a pretty chill practice and he still went off like that

Free safety report - Curl & McCain
They’ve been playing him at FS quite a bit. I don’t know if it’s fair to say Curl is behind McCain or anything. I think the coaching staff is just taking different looks. All three of them got a lot of time together the other day. https://t.co/P1BmvX9aDm

TE Caleb Wilson
Caleb Wilson the newly signed TE from Philadelphia had a bad drop/tip that led to an INT on a pass from Kyle Allen. An easy pass to drop.#WFT #WashingtonFootballTeam #NFL @SportsJourney

FIGHT!!
Woah. Today has been relatively calm with a game this Friday, but there was just a wild exchange between William Bradley King and David Steinmetz (reserve O lineman). Someone’s helmet got grabbed and thrown like 10 yards in the air. They were separated quickly but it was intense
— Pete Hailey (@PeteHaileyNBCS) August 18, 2021
Fight between OT David Steinmetz and DE William Bradley-King. Looked like they were grabbing each other’s facemasks, and then Bradley-King threw his helmet in the air and kept shoving. Broke up quickly. Don’t think the Bradley-King helmet swing was a Myles Garrett situation.
— Sam Fortier (@Sam4TR) August 18, 2021
Steinmetz had thrown a punch at WBK before the helmet grab/toss.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 18, 2021
We just a skirmish and a helmet toss. DE William Bradley-King and OT David Steinmetz, whose helmet went flying. Order restored quickly in the otherwise generic practice.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) August 18, 2021
Curtis Samuel update (kinda)
FWIW, Curtis Samuel — who did individual stuff but still is being held out of group work — has spent much of today next to Scott Turner as Turner’s been radioing in the plays

J.D. McKissic cleans up well
It appears practice is over early based on teammates just gave J.D.McKissic a Gatorade bath.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) August 18, 2021
Well, then. Antonio Gibson and Peyton Barber just snuck up on J.D. McKissic and gave him a Gatorade shower.
— Rhiannon Walker (@InstantRHIplay) August 18, 2021
RBs Jonathan Williams and Peyton Barber ended practice by emptying a Gatorade cooler of water on JD McKissic, whose birthday was Sunday.

Last man standing
Ereck Flowers, Charles Leno, Brandon Scherff, Wes Schweitzer and Chase Roullier are the last players on the field doing some extra drills. I may also be seeing Sam Cosmi, but can't definitively tell
