Player Pressers: Antonio Gibson and Jamin Davis

Antonio Gibson at the mic. Said he’s feeling more comfortable at running back and with what the team is asking of him.

Gibson said he’s making progress in pass-blocking. Obviously he knows how to block, but a lot of it has to do with getting his eyes. He wasn’t where he would like to be in that area last year, but he’s getting better at it in camp.

Davis has emphasized playing fast a lot. It’s something that the coaches harp on, but it’s more of a standard on the defense. Everyone is expected to play at a high level. Always.

Davis said it’s always been a dream to be in a Madden video game. It’s not his primary focus, obviously, he wants to focus on doing what he needs to do to get ready for the season, but it was a really cool moment for him.

On watching film, Davis said he starts to looking for concepts that he’s familiar with. Then, as he progresses throughout the week, he refines his focus to the smaller details of his opponents
