Watching how much time John Matsko is spending to help the OLine perfect their hand motion makes me think it’s a good time to remind people that most battles on the LOS are won or lost depending on who has the quickest, aggressive, most accurate hands.

Drew Terrell and Jim Hostler mentioned last year how they want their receivers to be good blockers. Well, Terry just sealed off Kendall Fuller on a play that allowed Cam Sims to get a few extra yards.

Very next play, Ryan Fitzpatrick throws a pass on a rope to Logan Thomas in a tight window. Landon Collins was in coverage, but Thomas wins the rep and gets the TD

Ryan Fitzpatrick with the heads up play and giving fans a little show. Coverage was all over his receivers, a hole opened up, and no one was watching him, so he tucked it and ran for the TD. Took a little lap out of the endzone screaming, “WOOOO!”

Ryan Fitzpatrick ran one in for a TD during red zone drills — then ran along the sideline in front of fans. The people love them some Fitzmagic.

Heinicke tries to squeeze a ball in the red zone and it’s tipped and picked. Defense goes crazy, which is fair after Fitz got the crowd hype a few plays earlier. Good play from Cole Luke but heavy coverage to make the throw

Casey Toohill with the heads up play for the interception. Cole Luke in coverage of Sammis Reyes, tips Taylor Heinicke’s pass high up in the air. Toohill peeled off his blocker and got under it. Defense converges on him to celebrate the takeaway

Darrick Forrest had a huge PBU at the goal line and Casey Toohill caught it at the 1. Defense went nuts. Fans went nuts.

Great throw-and-catch between Fitzpatrick and Tamarrick Hemingway. Looked like it was nearly picked off by Curl, but Hemingway snatched it away at the last second.
