Three more Washington Football Team players were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list today. Matt Ioannidis, who tested positive last year while on injured reserve, practiced this morning. He has been following the protocols that are in place for unvaccinated players while in Richmond for training camp.
Curtis Samuel was also placed on Reserve/COVID-19. He was placed on the Active/PUP list earlier this week for a groin injury he's been dealing with since mini-camp. CB Chris Miller is the third player to join Cornelius Lucas on the list.
DT Tim Settle was also activated from a non-football illness.
Ioannidis got COVID last year as well. He and Samuel have both been following the protocols for unvaccinated players in Richmond. https://t.co/p0QmTuwwPR

Ioannidis tested positive last season, and also participated in practice this morning.

That now makes four players on the list, with RT Cornelius Lucas placed on the list yesterday https://t.co/Ff7kuKE6v7
If Ioannidis tested positive (vs being a close contact) it’s hard to believe most of the dline won’t be considered a close contact and have to quarantine themselves … this could be eye opening across the league https://t.co/6hP0dopoG9

I took this photo of Matt Ioannidis and Ron Rivera last night at walk thru. Today Ioannidis placed on Covid list. Obviously Rivera is immune deficient after the cancer battle last season. Just one of many things to consider here. pic.twitter.com/qKpW7hZWwg
