I only have two rules;
No political discussion. This almost always ends up becoming heated between people.
No bashing the organization. There’s been plenty of negativity in the last 20+ years

Mychal Kendricks is a solid veteran linebacker who had six tackles in the playoff loss to Tampa Bay. He could be good depth for Washington at linebacker in 2021. https://t.co/UcbKXxrGp3

Number one issue in WFT world for the next 72 hours is Jonathan Allen’s contract. Getting to crunch time.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) July 23, 2021
Yeah, they should probably try and keep that Allen guy

Love what Dyami Brown brings to the table. One of the best deep threats in college football. #WashingtonFootball might have added their next home run hitter in the draft. We all know Fitz will throw it deep and give him a chance. pic.twitter.com/lJXH4SyJZL

From NFL Now on @nflnetwork: #Eagles TE Zach Ertz will report for the start of training camp, though I don’t believe it’s all sunshine and roses between him and the team. (I still got love for ya, @howardeskin) pic.twitter.com/Zu46xAZDAL

Sources: #Saints star WR Michael Thomas is expected to miss the start of the 2021 season after undergoing surgery to repair the ligaments in his ankle in June. Based on the timing of the surgery – and recommended 4 months of recovery – Thomas could be on the sideline for weeks.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) July 23, 2021
The Saints could be in for a very rough September. Three of the first five defenses they face are the Pats, Giants, and Washington and they might be doing it with Taysom and Tre’Quan as QB1 and WR1.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) July 23, 2021
Kamara is gonna need to go Super Saiyan to keep them in these games. https://t.co/iLqV6gkgFk
Odd timing for Thomas to get surgery. Wonder if something wasnt healing up correctly. Usually they get this done early
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) July 23, 2021
A few names at WR who are available would include Larry Fitzgerald, Alshon Jeffery, and Golden Tate. Dez Bryant had a cup of coffee with the #Saints a few years ago. List of free agent receivers is at https://t.co/jL6tTvStT0
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) July 23, 2021
It’s not just Aaron Rodgers: The #Packers and star WR Davante Adams have broken off long-term extension talks. There are no current plans to resume them. The two sides have been negotiating for months, but they are now in a bad place, sources say. First the QB, now the No. 1 WR.

Latest vaccination rate, per Dr. Allen Sills, the league's Chief Medical Officer:
— Nicki Jhabvala (@NickiJhabvala) July 23, 2021
Tier 1/Tier 2 coaches and staff are "virtually 100 percent vaccinated."
80% of all NFL players have at least one shot.
9 teams are at 90% or higher.
5 teams are below 70%.
Dr. Allen Sills said NFL players who've previously had COVID-19 will be categorized as fully vaccinated 14 days after their first shot.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) July 23, 2021
NFL agent to @TheAthleticNFL: "We let (players) know that these teams cannot cut players strictly due to COVID, but the mountain we’d have to climb to prove a player was strictly cut due to not being vaccinated would be pretty difficult to do.” https://t.co/F9h3PaZJ2z https://t.co/9vOGN4TPyl
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) July 23, 2021
It won't be *only* because they're unvaccinated. Josh Allen and DeAndre Hopkins aren't getting cut for being unvaccinated. It will be because they're unvaccinated *and* they're not that good. So it will be impossible to prove it wasn't just because they're not that good.
— Michael David Smith (@MichaelDavSmith) July 23, 2021
NFL's Jeff Miller says the league remains in discussions with the NFLPA about a vaccination threshold that would allow covid-related restrictions to be reduced on a team-wide basis. There has been speculation about that threshold being set at 85 percent.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) July 23, 2021
Another vaccine incentive for NFL players: If a vaccinated player misses a game while on Reserve/COVID-19, he’ll be paid any roster bonus he is due that game. If an unvaccinated player misses a game while on Reserve/COVID-19, he forfeits his per-game roster bonus for that week.
— Michael Gehlken (@GehlkenNFL) July 23, 2021
NFL's Allen Sills says the league will monitor trends across the country with the variants and "take the steps that we feel are necessary to keep everyone safe."
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) July 23, 2021
Coaches are required to be vaccinated, barring a medical or religious exemption, to be permitted to work in close proximity to players, under the NFL/NFLPA protocols. https://t.co/cnAD9JR8ez
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) July 23, 2021
And another - and probably not the last: Patriots’ co-offensive line coach Cole Popovich won’t be with the team in 2021 in a decision related to the COVID-19 vaccine and NFL guidelines, according to @MikeReiss.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) July 23, 2021
In all, four players went on the Reserve/COVID-19 list today: #Jaguars DBs C.J. Henderson and Luq Barcoo, #Bucs DB Jordan Whitehead and #Cardinals DB Lorenzo Burns. One was a high-risk close contact; only unvaccinated players can get that designation under current protocols.

The #Cowboys are expected to sign former #Colts first-round safety Malik Hooker, per @GehlkenNFL. Injuries have been a major issue, but Hooker is only 25 years old and the potential is through the roof.
— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) July 23, 2021
The #Cowboys and former first-round pick Malik Hooker have visited twice and he provides help at a position of need. Assuming all goes well, he’ll join Dallas with a chance to kick-start his career.

And the league said last year's expanded roster flexibility rules will remain in place for this season.

Prominent Big 12 source tells the American-Statesman the Texas-OU move to the SEC is almost done. "They've been working on this for a minimum of 6 months, and the A&M leadership was left out of discussions and wasn't told about it." Move could become official in a week.

We thought we might get a college football SUPERCONFERENCE last year when some teams definitely wanted to play & others weren't so sure..

I like the Gritty school of marketing. Release something, everyone rips it. The national audience rips it for a little too long and then locals come to the defense.
— Dave Zangaro (@DZangaroNBCS) July 23, 2021
I thought Guardians might be too esoteric and that people outside the city wouldn't get it. Seeing plenty of that now.
— Teddy Cahill (@tedcahill) July 23, 2021
But the bridge that the name comes from is beautiful and right outside the ballpark. One of the best pieces of Cleveland architecture/history pic.twitter.com/8ijhd4onmr
Hey @whoisjwright, if Cleveland has Tom Hanks voicing their name reveal I'm thinking you need to get James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) July 23, 2021
Vegas odds are on @McConaughey.
Currently on the metro and got a text: “Thoughts on the Guardians?” Almost threw up. Thought Washington randomly dropped their new name

Like it or not, the new #WashingtonFootball name unveiling will likely be more involved than a Friday morning tweet.
