Rivera is looking for things like footwork and hand position from the offensive line during this time where contact is limited. You don't need to bang on people to practice good technique, he said, and this is the time to perfect that.

Rivera said Heinicke is a guy who "knows how to make things happen." He has enough athleticism that he correct a play, but he also knows not to, and that is one of the pluses that he has in his skillset.
