It seems like just yesterday he was learning to share toys. Now he's off to school all by himself.

UPDATES
Chase Young update: on the offense’s first pass play of team drills, he rushed past two blockers before getting in Fitzpatrick’s face. He let up at the last second because, ya know, no contact during minicamp, but yes, Chase is doing Chase things.

Bobby McCain has been the FS with first group.
— Rhiannon Walker (@InstantRHIplay) June 8, 2021
Landon Collins hanging back with Chris Harris during group. He does individual drills, Harris told us yesterday
So, Troy Apke continues to get snaps at corner. Definitely looks like it’s becoming a thing

We have our first pick of the day and William Jackson III’s first of minicamp. Fitzpatrick overthrew John Bates, and WJ3 was there. And of course you could hear Chris Harris screaming “we got one! We got one!”

These back to back tweets pretty much sum up the Fitzpatrick experience pic.twitter.com/OHlkkd8ACJ

There’s not a quarterback competition with the first team reps, but there definitely is for the second team. Heinicke earlier, now Allen to begin this portion of 11 on 11s
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) June 8, 2021
Fitzpatrick just side-armed a pass to Adam Humphries during the final portion of team drills. Really intrigued to see how that connection is going to help the offense this season.
— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWFT) June 8, 2021
Heinicke scrambled to keep a play alive, and Antonio Gandy-Golden was there in the end zone to make the catch. He got a couple of pats on the helmet from Logan Thomas and Sam Cosmi for it too.
— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWFT) June 8, 2021
William Bradley-King very nearly had an interception by jumping in the way of Heinicke’s pass. Heinicke had to adjust his throw at the last second and the pass was completed, but it’s still a subtle reminder of Mayhew’s belief that WBK and Toney could contribute early.
— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWFT) June 8, 2021
Jaret Patterson has looked pretty efficient today as a pass-catcher. Randy Jordan told us yesterday that was something they didn’t expect from watching tape on him, but he looks natural in open space.
— Zach Selby (@ZachSelbyWFT) June 8, 2021
And Cam Sims just made a really impressive catch from Heinicke. He came back into coverage to haul it in. Another example of why Drew Terrell praised him so much yesterday.

The trash talking is in regular season form, y’all
