The Washington Football Team had 76 players attend the start of Phase 2 of the offseason program today. Every player, including those who didn't attend, communicated their intentions with Coach Ron Rivera beforehand, and he stressed that the workouts are voluntary.

It will be interesting to see Ryan Kerrigan in an Eagles uniform. ♂️ He’s familiar with Washington’s offense and defense and that makes me wonder if that’s part of the reason why the Eagles signed him? He still has football left in the tank and should help Philadelphia though.

Brian Mitchell ➡️ Eagles

Lavar Arrington ➡️ Giants
Alfred Morris ➡️ Cowboys, Giants
Ryan Kerrigan ➡️ Eagles
Not uncharted territory for #WashingtonFootball.
However, it will be weird seeing #91 in a different uniform. pic.twitter.com/bA5l7SwWuv

Kerrigan on if playing Washington twice factored into his decision to sign with Philly: "No, not at all. I'm not like, 'Oh, I've got to get revenge.' Get revenge on Washington? The place has been so good to me. No, that wasn't a thought at all."

Kerrigan on Washington: "I just know they were forthright and clear from the start of free agency about the direction they were moving in. I appreciated their directness."

A salute to Ryan Kerrigan. In a time in which way too many #WashingtonFootball players were malcontents, oft-injured & just not that good, he never complained, was incredibly durable & was highly productive. pic.twitter.com/qrHiAkXSIW

The Eagles viewed 2021 as a transition year for the roster.
— Zach Berman (@ZBerm) May 17, 2021
That wasn't meant to tank — it was meant to create flexibility beyond 2021 They've only given one-year deals, they've added three 2022 picks and they're taking the Wentz cap hit this year to alleviate future burden.
Here's where Ryan Kerrigan ranks in the category of: Most Sacks In A Player's 1st 10 Seasons (In The 2000s). Note, as much as anything, the durability in this crash-test sport. Missed just 4 games. You can't sack the QB in a tub. #WashingtonFootballTeam pic.twitter.com/Tk27sGZSAy

OK, one more Ryan Kerrigan chart -- since he's a good guy and had a damn good 10 years in Washington. Most Seasons With 7.5+ Sacks And A Pick-6. He's the only one with 3 (2011-12, '17)! (Sack Era: 1982-present.) #WashingtonFootballTeam pic.twitter.com/Q8D8SetJas

It was 3rd and 14 from the Cowboys 10-yard line. Washington was up 13-10 with 5 minutes to play. @RyanKerrigan91 fired through the line like a missile and stripped Dak Prescott leading to a Preston Smith fumble recovery TD that sealed the victory.

If the favorite wins every game, Washington will go 3-14.

Today's story on major changes with the FedEx Field turf also emphasizes a bigger change with the WFT's stadium. The lease ends in 2027. Team executive: "Theoretically, this should take us through the end of the stadium..." https://t.co/zah9eZWp9q

The 2021 NFL Draft saw more draft value spent on quarterbacks than every other draft in NFL history besides the '99 Draft.

And it was so close that had Fields gone 8th overall, 2021 would have topped 1999. https://t.co/QCJMWCQAAk pic.twitter.com/tQ3JxDZdYU
