Agree with you. I wrote about this in my last presidents’s blog at the end. Check it out. In fact, our CFO bought me one of those infamous Tommy Hilfiger shirts just to rib me and remind me we need to improve things where we can.

Danny Johnson's contract was a one-year deal worth $1.035 million. Only guaranteed money is the $115,000 signing bonus.

Who won this trade for Sam Darnold? pic.twitter.com/quavEY2Az4
— PFF (@PFF) April 5, 2021
Joe Douglas has had an up and down tenure as Jets GM so far, but he's been remarkably shrewd now with 3 trades.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 5, 2021
He had almost no leverage and somehow got maximum value in trading Leonard Williams, Jamal Adams, and Sam Douglas.
Douglas gets an A+ as a trader.
in my lifetime my father has decided that Chad Pennington, Mark Sanchez, and Sam Darnold have been the saviors of his team and i’m only 20
— Nikki Greenberg (@nikkigreeny) April 5, 2021
Quinnen Williams (2019 draft) is now the longest tenured 1st round pick still on the Jets. Marcus Maye (2017 draft) oldest draft pick still on the team. #Jets
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) April 5, 2021
Would be surprised if Panthers decision to trade for Sam Darnold didn’t have something to do with Niners targeting Mac Jones.
— Jim Nagy (@JimNagy_SB) April 5, 2021
I’m not sure why they would now https://t.co/309xClrpMp
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) April 5, 2021
Spoke with a few sources - Washington won’t be calling on Teddy Bridgewater. Some connections between Teddy B & WFT, but Washington is excited to roll with Ryan Fitzpatrick and young QBs this fall.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) April 5, 2021
As for Washington, I was told the team wasn’t very interested in Darnold. “Not looking for a reclamation project” was direct quote from somebody in Ashburn after they signed Fitz. Now Sam gets his chance to prove he’s not broken but the Jets are. We will see.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) April 5, 2021
One thing that isn’t getting talked about w/ Panthers trade for Darnold is how it looks veerrrry bad for Watson’s legal situation.
— WASHINGTON FOOTBALL (@HogsHaven) April 6, 2021
Don’t think billionaire hedge fund owner Tepper pulls the trigger on Darnold w/o thinking Watson situation is untouchable https://t.co/BJQqGrVyDn
Sometimes the national reporters shoot the breeze without truly understanding the context.
— George Carmi (@Gcarmi21) April 5, 2021
There was no chance Sam Darnold was going to DC after they acquired Ryan Fitzpatrick. Buy local .

Spencer Brown is a OT prospect in the 2021 draft class. He scored a 10 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1 out of 1134 OT from 1987 to 2021. https://t.co/PFyAdjxUKo #RAS via @Mathbomb pic.twitter.com/fUbqW9QoSj

Just tried typing out a "my guys" list for OL prospects outside of Sewell/Slater & had to stop the list at 9 names...I see this class as being LOADED and I'm still not done grading.
— Brandon Thorn (@BrandonThornNFL) April 5, 2021
I think there are 8-10 possible early starters at LT, possibly more long-term, and likely less (5-7) after some move inside.

“He [Jamin Davis] to me is like Lavonte David reincarnated... I can see why people are getting super hyped about this guy.” - Logan Paulsen on @john_keim Report podcast

Don’t think I’d take Jamin Davis at 19 but I would in the 2nd round

I recognize that Parsons is uber talented but I genuinely struggle to find a fit for him with a high pick that makes sense both for his skillset and for the needs of the teams drafting him. Halp...
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 5, 2021
This corner class is lowkey pretty bonkers. It's top heavy, sure, but man the top of this group is GREAT.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 6, 2021
Wouldn't be surprised to see three go in the top 15, which hasn't happened since 2016. Except this time, the #2 and #3 CBs are better than Eli Apple and Vernon Hargreaves.
Probably Surtain but I'm not done with Horn yet

Not really feeling the 19th spot...AT ALL!
— Mark Tyler(Hogs Haven) (@Tiller56) April 5, 2021
I know it’s a pipe-dream to trade up for a QB, but until the draft is over, I’m at least going to keep that dream alive in my own head.
However - trading back, and adding additional picks; heck, I’m even open to trading OUT of RD is.. pic.twitter.com/WMGIr3TclQ

One thing about this kind of stuff is that its usually more of a lagging indicator. If you are a team in the top right its probably even more of a future positive. Top left is likely a sign that you will need an influx of youth to maintain success.
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) April 5, 2021
That one standout number is pick 146 which was George Kittle, Tre Flowers, Amani Oruwariye, and Tyler Biadasz

The NFL is likely to eliminate the Week 1 MNF doubleheader and ESPN would have one Monday night game to open the season, per @peter_king. The plan is for ESPN to instead televise a Saturday doubleheader in Week 18, with the league flexing in two games with playoff implications.

The NFL is seriously thinking of creating a “Midnight Madness” sort of opening to the training-camp season, with 28 teams opening on the same date and with some fanfare accompanying it, per @peter_king.

At this point, if you were on the 2011 Alabama staff and you haven’t been hired by Joe Judge, you’re either head coach of your own program or you’re probably selling insurance

Congrats to the Baylor Bears on their National Championship — and to the Gonzaga Bulldogs on a great season. After an unimaginable year, every team in the tournament proved what’s possible with hard work and determination. You made your schools, communities, and country proud.
— President Biden (@POTUS) April 6, 2021
It has to be said. If Gonzaga was being considered as one of the all time great teams, then Baylor now has to be as well. The Bears two losses were directly related to time off from COVID. They easily could be undefeated. Tonight has been a masterpiece.
