Last night, at pick 19, Washington took one of the top prospects I had on my first round Big Board. I had been formulating my board for round one for the past three weeks, after doing evaluation for the past three months.
This year for round one, I did my board a bit different. I broke my rankings down into three tiers based on Value vs. Need: “Unrealistic”, “In our Range, and “A little Reach”. Here is how that board set up for me.
Unrealistic
- Justin Fields
- Trey Lance
- Micha Parsons
- Devonta Smith
In our Range
- Christian Darrisaw
- Jamin Davis
A Little Reach
- Rashod Bateman
- Tevin Jenkins
- Caleb Farley
- Trevon Moehrig
So, as you can see from my board, I was being a tad bit picky.
Below is my Big Board for day two of the draft(rounds 2 and 3), where Washington holds three selections(number 51, 74 and 82), based on Value vs. Need.
Trevon Moehrig S TCU
Tevin Jenkins OT Ok St.
Pat Freiermuth TE PSU
Elijah Moore WR Ole Miss
Terrace Marshall WR LSU
Jalen Mayfield OT Michigan
Rondale Moore WR Purdue
Davis Mills QB Stanford
Jevon Holland S Oregon
Amari Rodgers WR Clemson
Walker Little OT Stanford
Kelvin Joseph CB Kentucky
Sam Cosmi OT Texas
Dillon Radunz OT N. Dakota St.
Dyami Brown WR UNC
Liam Eichenberg OT ND
Kellen Mond QB Texas A&M
Asante Samuel Jr. CB Florida St.
Nico Collins WR Michigan
Tommy Tremble TE ND
Paulson Adebo CB Stanford
Brevin Jordan TE Miami
Brady Christianson OT BYU
Andre Cisco S Syracuse
Kyle Trask QB Florida
Hunter Long TE BC
*I didn’t add LB to this board as I do not think we address that position again until after round four.
