We have signed TE Sammis Reyes!
— Washington Football Team (@WashingtonNFL) April 13, 2021
I think Darren misspoke in the video when he said 6'2"
— Bill-in-Bangkok (@billhorgan2005) April 14, 2021
Article on Washington team site lists him at 6'7" but Pro day measured him at 6'5"
He's an amazing athlete with all the measurables. https://t.co/7ucwQZLLf0
The Logan Thomas signing should buy the coaching staff / Pete Hoener the benefit of the doubt

Sammis Reyes, TE, Chile Basketball Player Pro Day at UF | 35 inch vertic... https://t.co/3EKD5Lhvnb via @YouTube
— BGObsession (@BGObsession) April 13, 2021
He may never even play a down in the league. Gonna take a lot for him to get there. But I certainly don't hate them taking a no-risk shot on a FREAK athlete
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) April 13, 2021
Former #WFT TE Paulsen on new TE Reyes, having worked with him: "He reminds me a ton — I'm not even exaggerating here — of Jimmy Graham. A ton of Jimmy Graham. And I think he's a little bit of a better athlete, which is gonna sound crazy." https://t.co/Yut8SKgDs0
— Burgundy Blog (@BurgundyBlog) April 14, 2021
A Chilean basketball player who briefly played hoops at Tulane recently tested as the most-athletic size-adjusted TE to ever enter the NFL, per the RAS system (h/t @MathBomb)

And yes, that includes Kyle Pitts pic.twitter.com/5LOzTLP7RS
So what I'm seeing is that Washington signed a member of the X-men

— Pete Hailey (@PeteHaileyNBCS) April 13, 2021
Listen, if Reyes can’t block, run routes, or catch...they can just move him to linebacker because they don’t have anyone there anyways

We have claimed OL Beau Benzschawel off waivers. pic.twitter.com/yQoz1WnPwA
— Washington Football Team (@WashingtonNFL) April 13, 2021
Nice signing. Thought he was good at Wisconsin and has a strong pedigree (Wisconsin grain-fed hogs + dad and brother played collegiately)
— WASHINGTON FOOTBALL (@HogsHaven) April 14, 2021
The WFT clearly follows my Twitter draft board. They’re just too shy to tell me. Two of these guys are now on their roster. (Jelks and Benzschawel)
— Jake Russell (@_JakeRussell) April 13, 2021
A bonus podcast: Joined by @michaelniziolek to talk about a LT prospect of interest to WFT: Christian Darrisaw. And by Logan Paulsen to talk Sammis Reyes. Logan has worked with him. Man, he likes Reyes quite a bit as a project. Enjoy. Subscribe. Thanks. https://t.co/2GQijf29rp

Newsome has the best feet/hips in this class. He doesn’t quite have the size or length of some of the other monsters in this class so some teams will ding him for that, but he’s just so clean.

Reminds me of a young Johnathan Joseph. Put him 7X1 and watch him turn into a missile. https://t.co/3NR2c7U9oi
The #Cardinals are signing former #Steelers RB James Conner, adding him to the backfield with Chase Edmunds, per @JayGlazer. Should help fill the void left by the departure of Kenyan Drake.

Teams pay a big price to trade up in the draft even for non-QBs. Should they?https://t.co/GkuWPemfWp
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) April 13, 2021
I personally find it hilarious that Justin Fields has been seen as the 1b to Trevor Lawrence's 1a for like 10 years now but somehow in the final three months before they both go pro suddenly there's this huge gap. Like come on man.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 13, 2021
Trevor Lawrence had aspirations to become the next Peyton Manning, but scouts agree that Andrew Luck -- the last generational QB to enter the draft -- is a more accurate comp (via @ChaseGoodbread)https://t.co/HdCax0WX6O pic.twitter.com/Czs0CyeaFS

It's no secret Washington is interested in Stanford QB Davis Mills.
— Zac Boyer (@ZacBoyer) April 13, 2021
What did his coach, David Shaw, tell @BenStandig about the potential Day 2 draft pick?
It's simple: "I believe Davis is an NFL starter."
Q&A ➡️ https://t.co/tKNLSUrJmY
John Keim is saying the team is interested in Kyle Trask. Not a huge fan of drafting QB outside the 1st round but I won't be upset if they do take Trask.
— Tae & Todd Washington Football Podcast (@TaeNToddPodcast) April 13, 2021
It's unlikely that he'd become a franchise QB but I'll wait and see rather than immediately be upset.#WashingtonFootball

Offensive lineman please go play a second sport. Basketball, wrestling, track and field , swimming etc. I don’t care if your good at the events. It’s gonna help you with football . Year round weightlifting and sitting at home from Jan til spring practices start does nothing.
— Willie Anderson (@BigWillie7179) April 13, 2021
I found it so easy to mold Offensive Lineman who at least played 2-3 sports up until 9th grade . I understand you may can’t make the school teams in Highschool cuz of competition. But go do something else. Take a dance class, go find a rec team U& ya crew can put a team together
— Willie Anderson (@BigWillie7179) April 13, 2021
Here’s the full NFL memo, which also says teams must report weekly the number of employees who are vaccinated, as conversations with the NFLPA continue on the thresholds at which protocols on testing, PPE, travel, etc., can be relaxed. pic.twitter.com/FXuIhFP6Vh

NFLPA advises players not to attend teams' in-person voluntary offseason workouts as union, NFL continue to differ on that. Broncos, Seahawks players say they won't attend. The NFL tells teams that coaches, staffers must be vaccinated to work with players. https://t.co/KpDLPvyiUJ

#Broncos players become the first team to announce they'll boycott in-person voluntary workouts. The union urged players on a call Friday to take this step, as it continues to push for an all-virtual offseason. https://t.co/gvwK87aiPf

If you're installing a new offense/defense, getting extra time around that new scheme is always helpful. Again, especially for the younger players. Also, not all younger players can afford to spend money on private trainers/training. So working out at the facility is important
— Geoff Schwartz (@geoffschwartz) April 13, 2021
The NFL and NFLPA have continued to negotiate on the issue of whether there will be in-person offseason team workouts. The NFLPA has pushed for a second straight all-virtual offseason. Teams' workout programs are scheduled to begin Monday.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) April 13, 2021
According to a source, the Broncos have had 22 players work out at their facility this offseason, second-most league-wide to the Cowboys (who have had 25). A dozen teams have had 15 players or more.
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) April 13, 2021
Like, on the union side, I can see the NFLPA pushing to have "Vaccination days" at team HQ, then turning to the players and saying WE FOUGHT FOR THIS FOR YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY to guilt any fence-sitters into taking it.
— Mike Tanier (@MikeTanier) April 13, 2021
Britt Reid’s situation is scary. A lot of people will judge him for his actions but they will go out, drink, and drive in the near future. You are only one bad decision away from having a felony, death, jail time, or harming someone else. Don’t drink and drive !
