I want to thank @WashingtonNFL for everything they’ve done for me & giving me a chance to live my dream for the last 4 years. The memories I made there will stick with me forever and I’m forever grateful they allowed me to be a part of their organization.

I will never understand this logic
— Warren Sharp (@SharpFootball) April 11, 2021
if data shows something is likely to happen 99 times out of 100, it's not guaranteed to happen the time you try it
"99% is good...but what about that 1 time"
ok...but what about the 99x

Trask
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 10, 2021
Each qb u mentioned was different from the other. Also played for different coaches in a different system. Don’t know if he’ll be good or not. Do know I’ll never project simply based on who preceded him. Tells me nothing about him.
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 11, 2021
Joined by @GregMcElroy to talk QBs. Yep, focused a lot on Kyle Trask but he also discussed other top QBs and also guys like Davis Mills and Kellen Mond. Mac Jones, too. Strong and honest assessments. Really good insight. Enjoy. Subscribe. Thanks https://t.co/2GQijf29rp
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 12, 2021
This is a deeply silly take. Only 29 individual QBs have won a Super Bowl PERIOD. You can pick a QB taken anywhere in the draft and make the exact same case. It's rare.
— BlindWillieJohnson88 (@BlindWillie88) April 11, 2021
Taking a QB if you need one isn't a "risk". You still need one to even start being competitive.
The real takeaway is that getting a great QB is extremely hard to do. The position is at such a premium. However, drafting one high at least gives teams a better shot to get it right. Trying to consistently target mid-round QB’s is a recipe for continually having a need at QB

Yes, they are asterisks.

We’re about 2-3 years away from personnel departments not caring about 40 times. The game GPS data is going to replace it. Who cares what he ran in the 40, I know exactly how fast he ran in game conditions & I have 5 years of data for context.

TE Brevin Jordan was asked to block DEs throughout his career at Miami - he is MUCH better blocking prospect than we think

Whether 1-on-1 pass pro, sealing DE in run game, or whamming a NT - Jordan is willing & capable!

3rd and long, Jaycee Horn vs Kyle Pitts on an island. Horn gets into his stance and acts like he's going to jam to make Pitts slow play the release, and then he walls him off from the inside and throws 6'6" 245lbs to the ground.
