Thank God It’s Tuesday—Franchise Talk with Chris “CJ” Johnson, 25-year Vet on the DC Sports Media Scene

Kevin, Tim and Ken keep the conversation going year-round about YOUR favorite football team.

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a great night to be talking about the Washington Football Team. Kevin, Tim and Ken are gathered yet again in an undisclosed basement-esque location to discuss the never-ending drama surrounding our favorite team in the land. Tonight’s show title is loooooooong, just like our good friend CJ’s career in DC sports media. If you have ever listened to sports radio in your car over the last 25 years, chances are you have heard Chris Johnson’s voice and his shows. The only thing deeper than his inventory of stories is his rolodex—never interrupt CJ when he’s on the phone, or you could end up getting an earful from The Black Crowes.

It’s franchise tag time in the NFL, which means decisions to pay players tons of money, but more importantly, it’s an opportunity to talk about...franchises. As it is every Tuesday, it’s open mic night. Best “on the road” restaurant franchise? Best movie franchise? Best toy franchise? Best convenience store franchise? You get the idea. It’s franchise talk with CJ on tonight’s episode of Thank God It’s Tuesday, the official Washington Football Team podcast of Hogs Haven.
