Terry McLaurin told Jim Rome that he was actually dealing with two high-ankle sprains down the stretch of this past season, one on each foot.

Everyone is understandably focused on spending for outside free agents but Ron Rivera said a big priority is using cap space on current WFT players. Jon Allen is a fascinating one as the first of four DL up for an extension. Then there’s another extension sleeper to consider... https://t.co/Z6pM5X7DVm

This is why Thomas Davis was released by Washington - so he could sign a one-day contract with Carolina retire a Panther. https://t.co/ufI2hAnJPy

I’ve been telling people. Free Agency priority #1. https://t.co/cEpDyX34RM

I was critical of Hooper last season, but he still eclipsed Njoku in nearly every statistical category. Njoku had 19 total receptions for 213 yards over the entire season. Arguing that Njoku is better than Hooper is ridiculous.

The #Steelers made it official, signing QB Ben Roethlisberger to a new contract and locking him in for 2021.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 4, 2021
The Steelers should have released Roethlisberger, who's 39 years old. Clearly his best days are behind him and now they'll have the 4th best QB in the AFC North not only this year, but also next year. https://t.co/olGaIsm3vm
— Mike Tannenbaum (@RealTannenbaum) March 4, 2021
Ben is playing for 14M this year. An absurdly low salary for a QB and he took a real pay cut, not a fake restructure one. This is a player who is really trying to help his team win now.
— Joe Banner (@JoeBanner13) March 4, 2021
The rift between Russell Wilson and the Seahawks is happening because Wilson believes he's a top 5 QB all time and he also believes that he isn't currently even viewed as a top 10 QB all time. He thinks Seattle is holding him back with certain decisions [personnel/scheme].
— Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) March 4, 2021
So now we have a Russell vs Pete standoff but let's not forget Caroll was criticized for years for being too nice to Russell so the dynamic has now shifted the other way.
— Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) March 4, 2021
Wilson wants to play in an offense that allows him to look like an MVP QB and his own team doesn't trust him
Pat Freiermuth is a really, really good player that doesn’t get enough credit in my opinion.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) March 4, 2021
Great frame at 6’5” 260, nimble for his size as a route runner, blocks his ass off in the run game. It might sound sacrilegious, but he reminds me of Kittle when he was at Iowa.
I've been watching CB's for the last couple days. Every time I come across Ole Miss offense, WR Elijah Moore is performing surgery on these dudes. Love his game!
— Daniel Jeremiah (@MoveTheSticks) March 4, 2021
Could not ask for a better display of OL play against a quality defensive front than what Rashawn Slater had in ‘19 vs Ohio State. Even when NWestern was getting blown out, this young man kept playing his a$$ off. Super impressive. In every way. @NUFBFamily

Here's an example of what I mean. double slants at the bottom of the screen and the inside slant is wide open. LBs step up on the play-action, should be an easy throw. He passes it up and fits a dart in between the corner and safety pic.twitter.com/0RtIlr8jdd

Just without the arm talent, ability to play in a pocket, or size.
— Matt Valdovinos (@MVScouting) March 4, 2021
...so everything I said accurate lol

J.T. O'Sullivan just released his Mac Jones Part 2 breakdown today... Funny, how some of the same concerns I brought up about Jones, JT also has.

One guy I want to talk about is BYU's Dax Milne. While watching Zach Wilson, it was Milne who came down with a lot of those big plays (70-1188-8 in 2020).
— Justin M (@JustinM_NFL) March 4, 2021
Milne will meet virtually with the #Patriots, #Bills #Washington, #49ers, #Broncos, #Colts, #Chargers, #Jaguars & #Seahawks.
We all love football, and some of you are talented enough to go pro - hell some of you are about to be pros in a couple months!
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) March 4, 2021
But life doesn’t care if you have no “plan B”. A torn up knee or a bad back don’t care if you have no plan. They will fuck you up anyway.
Be prepared.
Hearing Giants trying to move G Kevin Zeitler and Jags trying to move G Andrew Norwell but not likely, given their salary. Other teams anticipate them being released, when they would generate significant interest

My two cents worth: I don't think Jason Kelce will hang up the cleats this year, I strongly believe he will again anchor the Eagles' offensive line.
— Les Bowen (@LesBowen) March 4, 2021
The Ravens are proposing a "spot and choose" system for determining the opening possession of overtime. One team would pick the starting spot (say, the 15-yard line) and the other team then would choose whether it wants to be on offense or defense.

With @benjstrauss and @greene: The NFL is working to finalize new TV deals with Fox, CBS, NBC and Disney-owned ESPN/ABC, and a new streaming deal with Amazon that potentially could include some Thursday night games that would not be televised nationally. https://t.co/N1zJ8DwiRb

The official 2021 compensatory picks release should come out any day now, with the time of day probably in the afternoon, around 4 PM ET or so.
