The Washington Football Team lost their first player in free agency today. CB Ronald Darby has reportedly signed a 3-year deal with the Denver Broncos worth $30 million with $19.5 million guaranteed. Washington wanted to re-sign Darby, and he was interested in a return, but a deal couldn't be reached.
Darby signed a 1-year, $3 million prove it deal, and he had a pretty good year here. He stayed healthy for the first time in his career, and turned that into a solid payday in free agency. Washington now has a very thin CB group and will need to address the position in free agency and/or the draft this year.
