Thank God It’s Tuesday—Turkeys Are for Winners

The Washington Football Team has made some basement-dwelling prognosticators look very, very not-so-stupid. It’s one thing to be a terrible team from start to finish. It is another thing to be a wire-to-wire winner. It’s an entirely different thing altogether to be...whatever the WFT is this season. Luckily for us, this script hasn't just been written already, it’s been made into multiple movies. The cast of characters changes, but the uncanny ability to stake yourself to a potentially season-ending record and then go on a run against teams you previously had no real expectation of beating is uniquely ours.

It’s Victory Tuesday! Not only that, but it’s Thanksgiving week as well as the Long Good Bye, which is what I call the wait not that isn’t just Sunday to Monday, but all the stops along the way (like a FULL day of football on Thursday. It’s great, and by the time we play next, it will feel like we had a bye week.
