Taylor Heinicke has had doubters wherever he has gone. He is a big-time underdog story who was famously living on his sister’s couch and going back to school. He wanted to make it happen in the NFL and was willing to give it one more try if he got the opportunity. That chance came late last year with Washington, and he made a huge impression with his performance in a playoff loss to Tom Brady and the Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He earned a ton of fans during that nationally-televised game, and the Legend of Taylor Heinicke was born. He re-signed with Washington, but took the backseat when career journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick was signed. He took the backseat, waiting for his chance again. Fitzpatrick was injured Week 1, and Heinicke seized his opportunity once again and hasn’t looked back. He is picking up fans along the way and the Heinicke Hive continues to grow!

That's not a catch? I might be biased as a member of the Heinicke Hive but feels like WFT is getting some bad calls tonight....
