OUT
WR Curtis Samuel (groin)
WR Dyami Brown (knee)
OT Sam Cosmi (ankle)
Questionable
CB William Jackson III (knee)
G Brandon Scherff (knee)
WR Cam Sims (hamstring)
OT Cornelius Lucas (illness)
Possible no Cosmi OR Lucas at RT. Oy.
Sounding like there's a good chance Saahdiq Charles is Washington's starting RT at Denver.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) October 29, 2021
Washington ruled Sam Cosmi (ankle) out. Cornelius Lucas DNP today with an illness.
An intriguing player, Charles has played 6 offensive snaps since drafted in the 2020 4th round.

Interesting stat for a team that once enjoyed a terrific home field advantage: Denver is 3-8 in its last 11 home games and 15-20 since 2017. One winning home record in the last 5. Altitude can only help so much. Of course, Wash is 13-23 on the road in that same time frame

This is a really good question from @BenStandig and a wild answer from Ron.

Curtis Samuel played 25 snaps against Atlanta, a game that took place 26 days ago. pic.twitter.com/4Z5h2taLoe
Ron Rivera on DEN's high altitude: "There’s a study that tells you that the elevation doesn’t really get into you until after 24 hours. We’re trying to go on that science. Hopefully that’s what it is. Again, we’ll have the oxygen on the sideline, we’ll have all that stuff..." pic.twitter.com/zThLrQYjno

Washington plans to arrive late SAT. The game kicks off at 2:25 SUN. So the belief is that it will feel the effects less within that 24-hour window than it would if it came out a day or so earlier and played in the middle of the toughest stretch of the acclimatization period.
— Nicki Jhabvala (@NickiJhabvala) October 29, 2021
The conclusion: It can take a while to fully acclimate, so the recommendation was to come in later Saturday (they arrive around 7 pm) and just go play within 24 hours. Del Rio said big key: hydrate. Will rotate guys as already did too.

Still think Washington has a pretty good chance if it gets hot down the stretch, given all the division games loaded into that back stretch. https://t.co/fJs65TtjIS

The #Rams and WR DeSean Jackson have mutually agreed to seek a trade partner, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. The 34-year-old can still run, averaging 27.6 yards per catch this year, including a 75-yard TD.

Cooper Rush will be ready to go if his number is called, per Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy.

Rush has never started an NFL game.
Hall of Fame CB Champ Bailey was on 106.7 today with @BMitchliveNBCS and @JPFinlayNBCS and was asked if he's surprised by Washington's "lack of success."
