The Washington Football Team announced several roster moves today as they prepare to face the Green Bay Packers. The wide receiver position continues to deal with multiple injuries. Curtis Samuel continues to miss games with a very slowly healing groin injury. Cam Sims will miss his third straight game due to a hamstring injury. Dyami Brown has been limited all week with a knee injury. Terry McLaurin is still listed with a hamstring injury, but was a full participant in practice yesterday.
Washington elevated Antonio Gandy-Golden from the practice squad the last two weeks, reaching the limit for that option. Today they signed him to the roster as the 8th WR. He has only been used for 11 snaps on offense over the last two weeks.
Washington also announced that they are elevating C Keith Ismael and DE Bunmi Rotimi from the practice squad. RT Sam Cosmi and RG Brandon Scherff are both out this week. This is Cosmi’s second game missed and Scherff’s third in a row. Ismael gives them more depth on the offensive line. Shaka Toney missed practice yesterday, and has now been ruled out due to illness. Rotimi gets the call to add more depth to the defensive line vs the Packers
Shaka Toney (illness) is now out for Sunday’s game, hence the Rotimi promotion.

Also, Gandy-Golden’s signing now means Washington has eight receivers on the active roster. Samuel and Sims remain out. https://t.co/GMLHCqQJLl
William Jackson III continues to deal with a knee injury. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday and didn’t practice yesterday. He was listed as questionable yesterday, but will be a game-time decision according to John Keim. He says Jackson did travel with the team, but it’s “up in the air” if he’ll play or not. The only other player listed as questionable is Antonio Gibson who has been dealing with a stress fracture in his shin for the past few weeks. He is expected to play, but his snaps could be limited again. Last week he only played 23 snaps, and didn’t play in the 4th quarter.
CB William Jackson III is traveling to Green Bay. Still very much up in the air if he’ll play or not. He was a DNP Friday in practice; limited other two days with a knee issue.
