The Washington Football Team released their final injury report for today’s game on Friday. The team on the field will be a lot different than the one that travelled to Atlanta last week. Three players went on IR this week(Jon Bostic, Torry McTyer, Logan Thomas). Three more players are out due to injuries suffered last Sunday(Brandon Scherff, Dyami Brown, Cam Sims). Danny Johnson and Jordan Kunaszyk were added to the roster earlier in the week, and Jace Sternberger was signed from the Seahawks practice squad.

Washington protected 4 practice squad players this week(QB Kyle Shurmur, C Keith Ismael, DE Bunmi Rotimi and Antonio Gandy-Golden), and AGG was elevated for today’s game. The coaches have talked about using DeAndre Carter more at WR. He had a big catch last week along with his 101-yard kickoff return TD, and could be in line for a bigger role in the offense due to injuries.

Curtis Samuel has been dealing with a groin injury since May. He played his first game last week, but only practiced on Friday this week. He was checked this morning, and will be active for a his 2nd game with Washington. Antonio Gibson revealed this week that he has a stress fracture on his shin, and has been wearing a splint during the week. He will also be active. Second-year offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles has been inactive all year, but will make his first appearance on the active roster today with Brandon Scherff out. TE Sammis Reyes also makes his NFL debut on an active roster today.
