We got the first injury report of the season today from Head Coach Ron Rivera, and it features a lot of players who have been dinged up recently. Jonathan Allen tweaked his knee 10 days ago at practice, but was a full participant in today’s practice. Rookie WR Antonio Gandy-Golden has been working off to the side recently, but was a full participant today and is listed with a concussion. Three other players were limited today. Kendall Fuller was the team’s big free agency signing this year and he has been sideline during training camp with a knee injury for the last few weeks. Fourth round rookie LT Saadhiq Charles has also been sideline for a few weeks(calf), but seems like he’s getting very close to a return. Del Rio mentioned that Thomas Davis Sr. was dinged up yesterday, and today he’s been listed with a calf injury.
Philadelphia has 6 players listed on their first injury report of the season. WR Alshon Jeffery is still recovering from foot surgery and isn’t expected back until probably Week 7 at the earliest. He joined DT Javon Hargrave on the DNP list today. Hargrave was held out with pectoral and hamstring injuries. Four players were limited today, running back Miles Sanders (hamstring), right tackle Lane Johnson (ankle), defensive end Derek Barnett (hamstring) and wide receiver Jalen Reagor (shoulder). Rookie WR Reagor was expected to miss the season opener due to injury, but he was reportedly fielding punts at practice today, so it’s still up in the air. QB Carson Wentz returned to practice a few days ago after dealing with a groin injury, and isn’t listed on the injury report today.
