Yesterday the Washington Football Team cut their roster down from 80 to 53 players. The roster could see a few more changes shortly, but today the team is filling out their 16-player practice squad. They made zero claims on waivers to add to the 53-man roster today, and lost the opportunity to claim OT Timon Parris when he was claimed by the Atlanta Falcons.
Teams can finalize their practice squads at 1 pm today. Look for the majority of Washington’s squad to be players that were released yesterday. The team also reportedly worked out several players this week, but will need to wait for COVID-19 testing before signing them. One of those players was former Carolina Panthers CB Cole Luke.
