All atwitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Washington Football Team beat writers & bloggers, national sports journalists, and football fans to keep up on the latest news and opinions about the WFT, the NFL, and sports in general, along with a smattering of other things.
The Washington Football Team continues their offseason practices as they prepare for the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 13th at FedEx Field. NFL teams are required to cut their rosters down to 53 players by Saturday, September 5th at 4pm. Teams will be able to form 16 player practice squads the following day. Washington Head Coach Ron Rivera speaks to the media after every practice session, along with various coaches and players.
