Chase Young suffered a strained groin, according to a source. Not considered serious. Seemed like a good sign w/ him walking around the sideline. Week 4 against the Ravens tbd.

Ron Rivera offered no update postgame other than to say Young (and Ioannidis) had suffered injuries.
The Washington Football Team started the game 7-0, but now trail the Browns 10-7 after a series of unfortunate events. Matt Ioannidis was seen walking with a trainer on the sidelines. He was taken to the locker room and quickly ruled out for the rest of the day. Ioannidis has an arm injury, and we will have to wait to get more updates. Ioannidis is a key piece of Washington’s defensive line rotation.
Ioannidis OUT with arm injury
A trainer is now putting Ioannidis's left arm in a sling. His arm has been re-wrapped from the elbow down.

And then things got even worse. Chase Young was seen walking to the locker room with what appeared to be a groin injury. He looked clearly agitated, as he left the game. Young was immediately ruled out with a groin injury. Young dealt with a hip flexor injury during training camp that caused him to miss some practices. Washington is now getting thin in their front 7, and they also made rookie DE James Smith-Williams inactive today.
Stay tuned for updates on both injuries...
