The Washington Football Team has been having a disastrous day so far as they play the Cardinals in Arizona. Every phase of the game has been a mistake-filled mess, and they are losing 20-0 at halftime. The offensive line hasn’t been good today, and Dwayne Haskins Jr. has seen a lot of pressure.
Now they have lost their starting RG Brandon Scherff after a Cardinals defender rolled up on the back of his right leg. Scherff immediately went down, and had to be helped off of the field. Wes Schweitzer is the next man up, and will play at right guard while Scherff is out. Scherff was taken back to the locker room after being looked at on the sidelines.
Brandon Scherff is once again in the final year of his contract after not being able to work out a long-term deal with Washington and receiving the franchise tag this season.
