Kendall Fuller was Washington’s biggest free agent signing of the offseason, returning home on a 4 year/$40 million contract. He’s been dealing with a knee injury for most of the team’s modified training camp, and missed last week’s season opener against the Eagles. There was hope that Fuller would return to the field this week. Fuller was a full participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but then went back to being limited on Friday. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report.
John Keim is reporting that Fuller will be out again this week, missing his second game in a row. Keim did offer a little bit of hope about Fuller’s health, saying the team hopes he can return to the field next week when Washington visits the Browns. This will mean that Ronald Darby, Fabian Moreau, and Jimmy Moreland will be getting the majority of the snaps at cornerback again this week.
Kendall Fuller out again per source. Washington hoping he’ll be a go in Week 3.
