The Washington Football team announced they are elevating two players from the practice squad this week. WR Cam Sims and LB Jared Norris will be available to play for tomorrow's away game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Washington only kept 5 WRs on their 53-man roster at cutdowns, but Sims was a priority to sign to the team's practice squad. He was only player that was called up by the team last week, and he played 16 snaps on special teams. Since this is Sims second call up of the season, he will have to be signed to the main roster if they want to call him up again.

Washington has two linebackers on their injury report this week, which is the reason Jared Norris is getting called up for the first time this year. Thomas Davis missed last week's game and is listed as questionable with a calf injury. Cole Holcomb has been ruled out with a knee injury. Holcomb played 21 snaps on special teams vs the Eagles, and this would likely be the role Norris was called up to play. He was a special teams player for Ron Rivera on the Panthers from 2016-2018.
