Dilly Dilly the Washington Football Team defensive line just dominated Philly.

As predicted on the preview podcast for Sunday’s game, the defensive line made the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line look like barbecue chicken. The unit racked up eight total sacks and realistically could’ve had a whole lot more.

This was just the start to the Ron Rivera era here in DC and based on what we saw, opposing offensive lines better buckle up.

On this pod we’ll recap the best parts of the game as well as the not so great parts of the win. Plus–because I’m dripping with creativity–we dish out some awards. Handing out the game ball, the best play of the game and the biggest surprise of the game.

Week 1 Pig Pen Podcast Awards:

Game Ball-A: The Defensive Line

Game Ball-B: Ryan Kerrigan breaking the sacks record. Two game balls won’t normally be a thing, but I made an executive decision to break my own rules on the first week.

Play of the Game: Fabian Moreau’s interception

Surprise of the Game: Peyton Barber

Who are you handing out awards to?
