Under the leadership of HC Ron Rivera there is clear messaging on expectations of his team. Derrius Guice has been released under allegations of DV. The team has taken this very seriously and took quick action. Derrius has turned himself into authorities.

Derrius Guice's NFL career has been marred by a series of injuries(3x on IR in 2 seasons), and now he has a different kind of problem that could keep him off the field. The Washington Post is reporting that Guice has been arrested on domestic violence charges, including one count of strangulation, a felony. He was also charged with three counts of assault and battery and one count of destruction of property.
Guice turned himself in at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center at roughly 5 p.m. He was handcuffed in the parking lot of the facility before being taken inside.

The question now will be how will Ron Rivera and the Washington Football Team react to the latest arrest of a player this offseason. WR Cody Latimer was signed to a 1-year deal and was arrested for assault and gun charges. He is now on the Commissioner's Exempt List, but the team has been quiet about his status.
Derrius Guice declared himself healthy last week and was expected to play a significant part in Washington's offense. Domestic assault charges usually do not end well for players and their current teams, bit we will have to wait to see how Rivera deals with Guice.
