Redskins Park will re-open this week to limited personnel, like football support staff, said a team spokesman.— Sam Fortier (@Sam4TR) May 18, 2020
Neither coaches nor players will return to the facility. Everyone who is will adhere to health and safety guidelines from the CDC, NFL and state of Virginia, per team.
NFL teams are allowed to reopen their facilities starting tomorrow, but it's going to be a gradual process. No coaches yet, and no players, as dialogue continues between the league and union. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/iDo4bSJ3VL— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) May 18, 2020
“Who is going to block those guys?” a former AFC scout asked @JFMcMullen of "EagleMaven" about the #Redskins D-Line.— Chris Russell AKA "The Rooster" (@Russellmania621) May 19, 2020
That & more on the @Redskins

The #Redskins should NOT let Cody Latimer play for them. Period. He ruined the opportunity they gave him by being a knuckle-head.— Chris Russell AKA "The Rooster" (@Russellmania621) May 18, 2020
The @Redskins should make an example of him. https://t.co/a0QWQlmrPy#NFL #HTTR #Skins #Broncos #NYGiants #CodyLatimer pic.twitter.com/0IyckhxkFW

.@NFLPA medical director tells @AdamSchefter that league/union are working on a surgical/N95-like device to use on face masks to help protect players when they return. “They’re looking at every issue, including when masks fog up.” https://t.co/NQ4dYGFe7z— Kevin Seifert (@SeifertESPN) May 18, 2020
Plenty of lobbying is happening for the proposed expansion to the Rooney Rule in advance of Tuesday's vote https://t.co/1MW72LTAwo— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) May 19, 2020
The NFL now will require any team with a head coaching vacancy to interview at least two minority candidates from outside the organization, source says. The Rooney Rule also will now formally apply to coordinator vacancies and at least one minority candidate must be interviewed.— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) May 18, 2020
Those tweaks to the Rooney Rule do not require a vote of the owners. They will go into effect no matter the outcome of Tuesday's vote of the owners on the proposal that a team would improve its third-round NFL draft position by hiring a minority head coach or GM.— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) May 18, 2020
The Rooney Rule previously had applied to coordinator vacancies on an informal basis. The NFL had pledged that teams would comply on a best-practices basis but there were no penalties for non-compliance.— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) May 18, 2020
The insider's view of #Nats 19-31 disaster of a start at this time last year...and why they had the audacity to think it'd change. Nice work from @Todd_Dybas and I LOVE the video by @jasonmurphy225. https://t.co/m2F2JlY2nk— Brian McNally (@bmcnally14) May 19, 2020
Some terribly sad news: actor Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on Leave It to Beaver, has passed away at the age of 76. His hysterical, obsequious repartee with Mrs. Cleaver (Barbara Billingsley) was unforgettable, even iconic. pic.twitter.com/qMqJnfWbT5— Channing Thomson (@CHANNINGPOSTERS) May 18, 2020

This heavy-machine operator taking a moment to bring smiles to the faces of two kids playing with their own miniature trucks is definitely the Twitter content I’m here for. AND the precision.
