Update: There are 3 teams still showing interest in trading for Trent Williams
This really could end soon or just continue. Skins will hold firm for an asking price. Or, at least, don't want to just give him away now. So willing to wait. Not a distraction; nobody's in the building now anyway and might not be for months.

The Redskins got their guy at #2 in Chase Young. This was pretty much a lock, but that didn’t stop the intrigue for Redskins fans. Trent Williams has been linked to a handful of teams, but no deal was made before the draft started. The Cleveland Browns were the team that has been linked to Williams the most since last year.
That trade was pretty much tanked when the Browns selected Jedrick Wills with the #10 pick. Josina Anderson confirms that the Browns are now out of the Trent Williams sweepstakes. Another team that has been linked to Williams was the New York Jets at #11, but they picked Mekhi Becton.
I'm told just now the #Browns are now out of the Trent Williams market after drafting Alabama T Jedrick Wills tonight at the #10 spot, at this time, per source.

This shrinks the market for Trent Williams significantly. Another team that has been linked to Williams is the Minnesota Vikings. They had 2 1st round picks(#22 and #25) heading into tonight’s draft. They took WR Justin Jefferson with the #22 pick, and traded the #25 pick to the 49ers for 31, 117, and 176. They didn’t go OT with #31, selecting CB Jeff Gladney instead. Minnesota now has a 2nd, three 3rds, and two 4ths to potentially make a trade for Williams.
Vikings loaded up on mid-round picks if they want Trent. Still gotta make the cap work though https://t.co/IlshvAJFjr
