Over the last 2 seasons, Chase Young had 27.0 sacks and 131 QB pressures. They’re the most by any FBS player since 2018. But those totals (in 26 games) are also superior to Young’s former OSU teammate Nick Bosa (career totals in college 17.5 sacks, 117 pressures in 30 games).

— Riggo's Rag (@RiggosRag) April 24, 2020
Andrew Thomas was a tackle who offensive coaches really like. He has played left or right tackle. He's got a rare ability to reset his feet in lieu of resetting his hands when recovery against the rush. He's gritty and tough. Average run blocker. Professional tough guy.
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 24, 2020
I wonder if Andrew Thomas starts at right tackle as a rookie, or does he wait and learn. I'm guessing Nate Solder is cut after 2020.

Tua joins Terry Baker, Michael Vick, and Steve Young (Supplemental) as lefthanded QBs to go in the 1st round of the Draft.

The southpaw will bring some much needed diversity to an NFL that hasn't had a lefthanded QB in yearshttps://t.co/Kqny55FX3P pic.twitter.com/BiSwYJ43Wq
Mark Brunell is a better comparison for Tua than Steve Young. He's not going to be running around and gaining yards on scrambles like Steve Young.
— Aaron Schatz (@FO_ASchatz) April 24, 2020
The last Alabama QB to be selected in the top 5 was Hall of Famer Joe Namath, who the Jets selected #1 overall in the 1965 AFL Draft.
— James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) April 24, 2020
Tua says he's not too worried about what number he wears. "I understand No. 13 is retired and it should be."
— Armando Salguero (@ArmandoSalguero) April 24, 2020
Off to a great start right there.
Feels like Justin Herbert at 6 is pretty risky. Had the Chargers not drafted him, who knows how far he falls?
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020
Justin Herbert's accuracy worries me. He's also really tall, which hasn't traditionally been a great thing at the position. I've got my concerns but the #Chargers are swinging for the fences.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
You need a QB and you're drafting this high, this is kind of what you do.
At the Combine and at the Senior Bowl, he was very impressive with the way he threw it and how you could feel him on the field.
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 24, 2020
Rivera on fielding offers: "A few of the teams we talked to were in the second half of the first round, and you're not going to get the type of player that we're talking about right now." Said he had five guys worthy of a top pick.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) April 24, 2020
Rivera on Redskins' d-line: "We saw the success San Fransico had last year with that type of a front. That type of front helps the rest of the team. It helps the linebackers, helps the secondary. And again, one of the things we want to make sure we do is we play fast."
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) April 24, 2020
Kinda surprised Brown over Simmons for the #Panthers, but I know some scouts that had Brown right up there with Young.

And you can take the Browns off the list of Trent Williams suitors... Cleveland takes OT Jedrick Wills... Wanted to draft one; they got one.
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 24, 2020
The Browns taking left tackle Jedrick Wills from Alabama is a dagger to the Redskins' Trent Williams sweepstakes. One fewer team willing to make a decent offer now.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
The Browns had to give up zero draft capital and still got the best offensive tackle in this class.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 24, 2020
Absolute THIEVERY.
#Browns out on Trent. Cards, #Bucs, #Vikings still alive. Need #Jets to take an OT here. #NFLDraft
— Kennedy Paynter (@Kennedy_Paynter) April 24, 2020
Mekhi Becton's dad played for the Richmond Speed in the ArenaFootball2 league. He was, unsurprisingly, an offensive lineman.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) April 24, 2020
Incredible confluence of circumstances. Starting with the worst executive the league has seen stay in a job for a decade in a looooong time at the peak value point.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) April 24, 2020
Add in a tackle heavy draft and still, yep. Doesn’t make total sense. https://t.co/MiofIp0GJX
Trade! The #49ers are sliding back, trading with the #Bucs
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Tampa coming up to SF’s spot for tackle. SF getting 14 and 117 and giving 13 and its last seventh-round pick, per source.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 24, 2020
Buccs gotta be trading up to make sure they don't get scooped on Wirfs, right?
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) April 24, 2020
Great job by 49ers. According to the traditional draft chart, this was an almost perfectly even trade (1150 points for 1160, so slight win for SF).
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020
But a 4th round pick is pretty valuable, and the 49ers got one for free. Weren't going to draft Wirfs, and got 121 cents on the $ https://t.co/CdeSGApitw
Tom Brady gets a tackle. The #Bucs trade up and select #Iowa OT Tristan Wirfs in the No. 13 slot.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020

Boy, this did not turn out well for the Redskins.
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) April 24, 2020
Possible Trent Williams destinations:
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
Browns - took a tackle
Jets - took a tackle
Bucs - traded up to take a tackle
Vikings have two picks in this round but still need a tackle for now.
Annnnnd now you can take the Bucs need for an LT away as well. Tough night for Trent's trade demand.
— The Redskins Wire (@TheRedskinsWire) April 24, 2020
They have options, it’s called making him play out his contract https://t.co/xyk2mZzkG5
— Hogs Haven (@HogsHaven) April 24, 2020
Will be curious how Tampa views Wirfs. I know some feel he'll end up as a G. But only matters how Bucs view.
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 24, 2020
told by one: "They'll put him at OT until they realize he's a G." just one opinion. We'll see. think if teams felt a definite OT he'd go higher. Doesn't mean he won't be; just sounded like teams split...
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 24, 2020
#Niners stay put and take Javon Kinlaw. Some groans from teams behind them, who hoped he'd slide.
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) April 24, 2020
The Niners add ANOTHER defensive lineman.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) April 24, 2020
Whatever wide receiver Kyle Shanahan drafts is winning the lottery. Like being asked out by the hottest girl at school.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
In the end, neither Miami nor the Chargers nor any other team ever made an offer to move up to Detroit’s or the New York Giants’ spots, per league sources. The Dolphins and Chargers were content to stay where they were and pick. And that helps explain why first trade at No. 13.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 24, 2020
Wow so the Dolphins essentially traded Minkah Fitzpatrick for 5th ranked Offensive Tackle in the draft. #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/YhY7ckVQKZ

Can we go split screen with the draft and Kinlaw's house for the rest of the broadcast?
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) April 24, 2020
Ugh are the Eagles gonna get CeeDee
— Hogs Haven (@HogsHaven) April 24, 2020
Could the Falcons go CeeDee Lamb here?
— Steve Wyche (@wyche89) April 24, 2020
I think we're going to look back and tonight and wonder how CeeDee Lamb didn't go earlier. Somebody is getting a stud about eight picks later than they should have.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
This draft is one of the "chalkier" drafts that I can remember. CeeDee Lamb is the only top 15 player still available on my big board. And CJ Henderson was 16.
— Steve Shoup (@Steveospeak) April 24, 2020
#Eagles fans were praying for CeeDee Lamb... and he ends up in Dallas. Worst possible outcome for Philly fans. Unreal.
— NFL Update (@MySportsUpdate) April 24, 2020

RB: Melvin Gordon (age: 27)
RB: Phillip Lindsay (age: 25)
WR: Courtland Sutton (age: 24)
WR: Jerry Jeudy (age: 21)
TE: Noah Fant (age: 22)
Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa told reporters that the recent tornado in Nashville hit his apartment complex and “destroyed my car … it was pretty bad.”
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 24, 2020
Alabama, with Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III, is the first school ever to have the first 2 wide receivers drafted in the NFL draft.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020
The #Cowboys looked hard at edge and CB… never expecting one of the top WRs to be there. A stunner. #Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb heads to Dallas. No. 17.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Damon Arnette at 19 is NOT a reach. He's really, really good. Love him in press. Just leave him on the boundary and watch him beat people up. Uses the sideline better than everyone else in this class not named Okudah or Terrell.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 24, 2020
Physical, fluid, and smart.

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) April 24, 2020

The #Eagles do take a WR… but it’s #TCU’s Jalen Reagor at No. 21. An under-the-radar 1st rounder. He was a guest on RapSheet + Friends this week, hoping he had a Thursday call. He does https://t.co/TYRWq8sNIF

— Conor Orr (@ConorOrr) April 24, 2020

With the pick they got from the Stefon Diggs, the #Vikings take LSU WR Justin Jefferson. He'll come in and replace.... Stefon Diggs. Meanwhile, the #Chargers are now on the clock after trading with New England. They'll pick at 23.
— NFL Update (@MySportsUpdate) April 24, 2020
Good pick by the Vikings there with Jefferson
— Mark Tyler(Hogs Haven) (@Tiller56) April 24, 2020
The Vikings traded Stefon Diggs and just drafted a starting WR to replace him in Justin Jefferson. Big fan of his body control way down the field. He and Thielen will be a nice tandem for Kirk Cousins. Vikings should take a CB at No. 25.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
Justin Jefferson to the Vikings. Mike Zimmer can't be happy.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020

The #Saints with a wildcard: #Michigan C Cesar Ruiz at No. 24 — even with #LSU LB Patrick Queen on the board. A sneaky favorite of the O-line coaches and top interior OL.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
I guess Ruiz will play Guard? Can't imagine moving Erik McCoy
— Robbie Duncan (@RobbieDuncanOL) April 24, 2020
he'll probably play guard but our point still stands
— We makin noise in 2021 (@httrandy_) April 24, 2020
The Saints are taking Michigan C Cesar Ruiz. I'm told the plan is to move last year's outstanding rookie center, Erik McCoy, over to guard.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) April 24, 2020
Not sexy. But investing in the OL has served New Orleans well.
The #Vikings are trading out of the No. 25 spot, source said. The #49ers are on the clock.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
49ers trade up to 25, by sending 31, 117, and 176 to Minnesota.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020
Vikings gain 133 cents on the dollar according to my draft value chart.
Minnesota actually *loses* according to the traditional chart, getting just 95 cents on the dollar. Rare to see.
I’m guessing they wanted a burner and were hoping for Ruggs
— Daddy Warbucks (@DapperDon9) April 24, 2020
The Vikings now have a bunch of mid-round picks that they could use to trade for, oh... I dunno, a Pro-Bowl Left Tackle?

That scene from 'Draft Day' where the incumbent Browns QB trashes his locker.
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) April 24, 2020
Except in Green Bay.
Huh?
— Steve Wyche (@wyche89) April 24, 2020
It’s makes perfect sense for the @packers to pick a QB with Rodgers nearing the end of his career. It’s better to get the next QB a year or two early to give Love time to acclimate to the NFL and smooth out some of the rough spots in his game. #NFLDraft
— Bucky Brooks (@BuckyBrooks) April 24, 2020
Holy crap
— Robbie Duncan (@RobbieDuncanOL) April 24, 2020
My biggest question with that Packers trade is how Matt LaFleur has a tight ass fade in quarantine right now
— Hogs Haven (@HogsHaven) April 24, 2020
Not sure if this was the skill player he had in mind. https://t.co/UkzTSiwzUN
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) April 24, 2020
The Packers trading up to take QB Jordan Love is your biggest "wow" move of the night. They have two years to evaluate him behind Rodgers. Could groom him for 2022.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) April 24, 2020
With a 36-year-old QB I would've just gotten him some win-now help. I'm sure Rodgers is thrilled.
And so former Packers’ HC Mike McCarthy gets a first-round WR in his first draft with the Cowboys.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 24, 2020
And Aaron Rodgers doesn’t get a first-round WR or RB for the 15th straight year. Packers get his successor instead.
One coach I spoke to about new #Packers QB Jordan Love told me: “If he sits for a year, he could be electric.”
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) April 24, 2020
An ideal situation in Green Bay ... though Aaron Rodgers surely plans to make Love sit more than a year. https://t.co/0aFEug8owV pic.twitter.com/rG8FB1ruBy
I apologize for my mistweet earlier. Statistically speaking, Jordan Love was one of the 8 most efficient passers in the MWC last season. pic.twitter.com/TDJgOCGUmD
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 24, 2020
And by trading up to draft Utah St. QB Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers put 36-year-old Aaron Rodgers on the clock.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 24, 2020
Yep
— Steve Wyche (@wyche89) April 24, 2020
This would be wonderful. Now look at Aaron Rodgers' contract. No way the Packers carry that much dead money before 2022. https://t.co/pE6b1GqXZp
— Aaron Schatz (@FO_ASchatz) April 24, 2020
Imagine being in quarantine with Aaron Rodgers right now. Luckily, the most likely person to be in that predicament can drive really, really fast.
— Mike Tanier (@MikeTanier) April 24, 2020
Here’s what Aaron Rodgers told @WildeAndTausch last month about the Packers taking a QB in the first round: pic.twitter.com/rGCC6tlkvP

— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) April 24, 2020
The #Seahawks don’t trade! Repeat: No trade. Surprise of the night.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Sleeper no more. Jordyn Brooks selected 27th by the Seahawks.
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) April 24, 2020
Real stunner is Seattle actually made the pick. https://t.co/SzkR5P7iHp
.@TexasTechFB #JordynBrooks over 45 starts has consistently shown that he is a tackling machine and a natural leader of a defense. He has shown that there isn’t anything he can’t do well and the “Comps” are high praise #WreckEm #gunsup #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/9hpu1kfbDu
— Brian Baldinger (@BaldyNFL) April 10, 2020
The #Ravens prove every mock draft right, taking #LSU LB Patrick Queen at No. 28. A big need and a perfect fit.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Baltimore casually drafting Patrick Queen as the fourth linebacker off the board without breaking a sweat is soooooo Ravens.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) April 24, 2020
They always manage to get insane value.
Patrick Queen goes #28 to the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens had previously taken 4 linebackers in the 1st round and each one made at least 4 Pro Bowls in their career https://t.co/n0a5THiinR #NFLDraft2020 pic.twitter.com/hTtUXsRuEE
— ProFootballReference (@pfref) April 24, 2020
The #Titans take the other #Georgia OT, Isaiah Wilson, at No. 29. They lose Jack Conklin and replace him in the first round.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
What exactly is happening at Mike Vrabel's house? #Titans
— Paul Conner (@P_ConnerJr) April 24, 2020
What on earth is going on with the people standing behind Mike Vrabel?
— Aaron Schatz (@FO_ASchatz) April 24, 2020
Can someone explain the Vrabel tableau?
— Judy Battista (@judybattista) April 24, 2020
I have a lot of questions. pic.twitter.com/uHDav0MNGv
— Nicole Auerbach (@NicoleAuerbach) April 24, 2020
So teams thought #TrentWilliams was better option than any OT in this #NFLDraft? Had funny way of showing it. Five of first 18 picks were OTs, including four by teams considered potential suitors for Trent. Lack of trade market for him continues to be glaring & telling. #Redskins
— Al Galdi (@AlGaldi) April 24, 2020
Kyle Smith asked about a potential Trent Williams trade:
— Chad Ryan (@ChadwikoRCC) April 24, 2020
"It could happen tomorrow. It could happen in the next five minutes. It could happen in the next few days. We're just working through it". #Redskins
Talks have been ongoing. No indication anything is on the verge of happening with any team right now. https://t.co/lzGpyzoaXQ

I’m not going to try to spell the Auburn corner’s name at this hour. He’s a Dolphin.

— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) April 24, 2020
I should’ve listened to the one person telling me to put him in our mock draft: The #Dolphins take #Auburn CB Noah Igbinoghene at No. 30.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Noah Igbinohhene Dad went straight Nigerian on ESPN right there!

— 2️⃣9️⃣ (@DhaSickest) April 24, 2020
The #Chiefs pick No. 32… the best pick in the whole world. And with that, they select #LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, so he’s the first RB off the board. Andy Reid and Eric Bieniemy should have some fun with this one.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 24, 2020
Prolific.

By far, the highlight of the first round of the #NFLDraft was Henry Ruggs III answering the coach's call and making his national TV appearance wearing a cotton bathrobe. He's already getting in the heads of future opponents with this drip. pic.twitter.com/6Cg9TfBMlL

Changing cities is not easy and Tom Brady is experiencing that. Earlier this month, Brady walked into the wrong house looking for OC Byron Leftwich, per TMZ.

Free agent TE Trey Burton has agreed to terms with the #Colts, per @EnterSportsMgmt. Back together with coach Frank Reich. He gets a 1-year deal worth the minimum... but he gets a total of $4M that’s already guaranteed from the #Bears.
