It’s go time! We’ve seen the mock drafts, we’ve seen the trade outlooks, but we wanted to know the player perspective on the draft process.
Allana and Tiffany were joined by Equanimeous St. Brown of the Green Bay Packers and Dwayne Wallace of the XFL’s LA Wildcats.
A few short years ago these athletes went through their own draft weeks with dissimilar fates. St. Brown was drafted to the Packers, while Wallace was left to find away to keep his dream alive. Often during this week we miss some of the nuances in what it feels like to be a young athlete with their future on the line.
St. Brown and Wallace offer advice to these athletes and provide details on what they’ve been through since their big week and how they’re working to keep their dreams.
Wallace talks of how faith willed him to a standout year in the XFL, while St. Brown talks of his father John Brown the two time Mr. Universe branded him and his brothers Amon-Ra St. Brown (University of Southern California, WR) and Osiris St. Brown (Stanford University, WR) to be superstars.
While St. Brown is primarily concerned with his Packers, he and Wallace believe Chase Young is the biggest standout in this coming draft.
