I had been on the fence for a while about the "Chase Young vs trade down" debate for most of draft season. I see both sides. But as we get closer and closer to draft day, I find myself getting more and more excited about drafting Young.

Redskins will pass on former Bears TE Trey Burton. I’ve been told he is a great person and player... when healthy. That is the big question mark, his health. I am also told Redskins are not pursuing. #httr #redskins
— Julie Donaldson (@JDonaldsonNBCS) April 18, 2020
Info on OJ Howard - some Redskins would love to have him. TE obvious need. Reports I get suggest measure caution on expectations of former 1st rd pick. As a receiver - best thing he does is run deep seam routes. A new surrounding may help. #httr #redskins

Evaluators I’ve talked to would disagree about no 1. But... always an insightful list from Leggy. https://t.co/icoqk2XpXE

I’d guess young is tops on 2/3 to 3/4 of boards. But there is a group that clearly likes Simmons too.
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 18, 2020
And u don’t. U “look at stats”. Major props on the lazy reports. And most teams disagree with you. So kudos. And nice to remove another annoying follow from my view. Thanks

Draft quick hits (1/4)
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 18, 2020
Jeffery Okudah is not a clean sweep over CJ Henderson on every team's board. That might be assumed, but it's not accurate.
Draft quick hits (2/4):
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 18, 2020
The idea of someone trading to 3 for Tua seems unlikely now. The most intriguing part thing that could happen in this draft would be if the Dolphins go OT at 5 which is possible considering their draft capital and ability to package and move up later.
Draft quick hits (3/4):
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 18, 2020
I mentioned a couple of days ago that Memphis RB Antonio Gibson had a majority of praise across the team sources I speak with. At defensive back, Utah's Terrell Burgess is very similar. He's listed as a safety, but is fluid enough to play nickel.
Draft quick hits (4/4):
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) April 18, 2020
I see:
Isaiah Wilson: 1st round
AJ Epenesa: 2nd
AJ Terrell: 1st
Mims: 2nd
Players with sneaky 1st round potential:
Edwards-Helarie
Jalen Reagor
Ezra Cleveland
Cesar Ruiz
Josh Uche

Yes I think its possible. If ticket revenue vanishes and any type of TV revenue declines there should be a drop. Id think all parties would benefit at that point by "borrowing" from the 22 cap in a side negotiation https://t.co/qV0yCNbJu0

Just wait until Johnson is off the books on June 2. They probably have enough space now if they wanted to do anything https://t.co/5kEJX2hNUM
— Jason_OTC (@Jason_OTC) April 18, 2020
No idea on the good or bad of the prospects but they have to come out of this draft with a potential QB of the future. If they dont think one is there they have to trade up even if it hurts to move up https://t.co/5ULU7v2OsX

Jaguars Have Had Trade Talks With Teams Regarding RB Leonard Fournette https://t.co/B6Qtms7fCX pic.twitter.com/oTwYzoFNoz
— NFLTradeRumors.co (@nfltrade_rumors) April 18, 2020
Just in thinking about it I think if you were interested in adding a Fournette the right path is trading no more than a 6 or 7, then decline his option so he can be a FA in 2021, and then hope to collect a 5th as a comp pick down the line
