It was nowhere near that simple… (via @nflthrowback) pic.twitter.com/EFFL4m0Tl4
Here’s a detailed breakdown on @Tuaamann workout today from Trent Dilfer, who directed the 72-throw session that was video taped and sent to all 32 teams. Thanks @DilfersDimes pic.twitter.com/vA8Y3tB9AD

Five injuries in college. That matters more than a pro day workout
— John Keim (@john_keim) April 10, 2020
Today I spoke with the two surgeons who know Tua and his hip better than anyone: Dr. Chip Routt and Dr. Lyle Cain. They’re optimistic not only now but for the future. https://t.co/bQCZqmvMTf

This is true. Dilfer told @AlbertBreer last year about Haskins “He sees it like Tom, he works at it, he plays that way.” Just providing perspective. I now look forward to overreaction. Peace https://t.co/Jwi9Fav8bp

I believe that the $21.8M cap charge for Cooks will be the largest single year dead money charge ever taken for a player, surpassing the $21.12M the Steelers took for Antonio Brown last year.

A charmed life: Brandin Cooks has gone from Drew Brees to Tom Brady to Jared Goff to Deshaun Watson at QB.
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 9, 2020
Larry Fitzgerald once went from Derek Anderson to Max Hall to John Skelton to Kevin Kolb to Skelton to Kolb to Skelton to Kolb to Ryan Lindley ... without changing teams.
"It might be the best division of QBs we've ever seen."

Who wins the NFC South?

Two proposals by the competition committee, which usually have the best chance of passing: Additional defenseless player protection for kick/punt returners, and preventing teams from manipulating the game clock with dead-ball fouls. https://t.co/hItR7lD8jQ

The XFL just held a conference call in which all employees were told the league is suspending operations. Said one: "The word they used was 'shut down'."

Is this the end (again) for Vince McMahon's XFL?:https://t.co/UOEFM6syGZ
— Pro Football Rumors (@pfrumors) April 10, 2020
It is pretty amazing to see Cooks career arc. He was selected in the 1st round by the Saints in 14. In 2017 he was traded for a 1st to the Patriots. The following year it was a 1st from the Rams. Now in 2020 its a 2nd from the Texans. Rare that a player maintains that value

So Houston traded
— Football Perspective (@fbgchase) April 9, 2020
DeAndre Hopkins
2020 2nd (#57)
2020 4th (#131)
and got back
Brandin Cooks
2020 2nd (#40)
2021 4th
David Johnson's $11.2M cap hit, and
2022 (lol) 4th
What an awful pair of trades.
In past 9 months Texans have:
— Andrew Brandt (@AndrewBrandt) April 10, 2020
-paid Clowney $7M to play for Seahawks;
-traded two first-round picks for Tunsil with no companion contract extension;
-traded for bloated contracts (David Johnson/Brandin Cooks) from teams desperate to offload.
Opposing GMs smell blood in the water.
I’m starting to wonder who is worse out of GM Bill O’Brien vs GM Chip Kelly https://t.co/ODfVFmfs4a
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) April 9, 2020
If I am the @MiamiDolphins or the @Raiders I’m calling the @HoustonTexans and offering 2 of my first round picks for Watson. Why the heck not-the way things are going I wouldn’t be shocked.
— Dan Orlovsky (@danorlovsky7) April 9, 2020
Watching the way Bill O'Brien has been working his trades of late, Chris Grier should call him up right now and ask for more for Laremy Tunsil because he might get it.

I don't think I've ever seen @FedExField, home of the @Redskins so beautiful. #LightItUpBlue tribute to doctors, nurses, and everyone on the #COVIDー19 frontlines. We'll salute these pandemic warriors in the DMV on @ABC7News at 11 p.m.! pic.twitter.com/pcvUEf40aQ
