They weren’t extending or doing anything with anyone. You’re a new coach and a guy who has missed a lot of games asks for more $ before you’ve gotten a chance to know him. What would u do? (I don’t blame Dunbar for wanting more). Give to him then Kerrigan says “wait a minute” etc
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
do it for one, open up the door for all. threaten to sit out/demand trade/get rewarded... nope... Why should they give him more? based on what? Entering prime; hurt a lot. 18 out of 32 games in 2 years. good corner. Had old regime returned, he'd be signed. this one doesn't know.
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
no problem. yeah i understand that part. I don't know the breakdown of his deal to see the real value. Listen, they didn't want to get rid of Dunbar. in his case felt had no choice. he was making waves about not showing up in OTAs. not ideal for him. (yeah, I know TW; but: elite)
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
because it just happened and people still have questions...
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
Correct. But one wanted out. They Didn’t want to trade him.
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
Cooley on @john_keim’s pod said that Kelvin Harmon is more H-back than WR & actually blocks better than most TEs. Also said that Steven Sims can be a WR2. Sims over #Redskins’ last five games in 2019: 23 receptions for 259 yards & four TDs on 40 targets. pic.twitter.com/kbBThOgyht

Many weren’t happy about it.
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
Cooley on fellow TE Logan Thomas, on @john_keim pod: "Really average. Stiffer than you would think he would be. He's just a guy. He's a 2 tight end. They need a starter."
— Burgundy Blog (@BurgundyBlog) March 29, 2020
Good lord. He’s asked his opinion. He gives it. He’s a highly educated person about football. Highly. Talks to coaches. Watches lots of film. Played the game. He’s not always right. No one in this business is when it comes to player Eval. But to call a moron? ... unreal.
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 29, 2020
U miss the point if U think it’s about hurt feelings. It’s pretty easy. Rather than insult give an educated counter. No time for just hurling insults. not anymore. Be better. Thanks

Redskins continue to add depth/competition to Secondary with former Eagles Ronald Darby. Another prove it one year deal for a DB that has struggled last few seasons. I’m told has top athletic ability, speed, and decent hands. Struggled to stay close in coverage. #httr #redskins
— Julie Donaldson (@JDonaldsonNBCS) March 29, 2020
Seeing Ronald Darby depart to a division rival in DC puts a 6th round 2021 compensatory pick on the board for the Eagles. https://t.co/wNVqZOCulO

Rivera has only kept 4 corners on his opening day rosters each of the last two years. Del Rio could change that but it’s something to keep in mind. If so; Fuller, Moreland, Moreau, and Darby are probably your squad.
— Redskins Realm (@SkinsRealm) March 29, 2020
Have long said the additions of Rivera/ Del Rio are rather big. Much more so than any player. And young will help quite a bit too

The #Lions agreed to terms with former #Packers WR Geronimo Allison, and he’ll get a 1-year deal for $910K and a $137.5K signing bonus — the max for the veteran minimum.
