Rivera continued: "Going forward, you never know what’s going to happen. But where we are right now, and we made a commitment to young guys, to find out who we have as a football team.”

Rivera regarding the NFL Draft: "You're going to have to rely on your scouts and what they've been doing on the scouts for at least three years. ...Now you're going to see just how good your scouting departments are."

Redskins add Cody Latimer to offense, a WR with size and speed. Ability is there and team believes production will follow. Expect him to compete for playing time. #httr #redskins #NFLFreeAgency2020

Redskins WR depth chart:
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) March 26, 2020
WR 1 Terry McLaurin, Cam Sims
WR 2 Kelvin Harmon, Cody Latimer, Darvin Kidsy
Slot: Steven Sims, Trey Quinn
Do you think there is any bad blood between Rivera and Breeland? Rivera did sign him in Carolina, and soon after cut him because he stepped on a nail or something like that. It’s usually all business, but you never know.
— Ed Sheahin (@NFLPhotoGuy) March 25, 2020
Not really
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 25, 2020
ICYMI: Quinton Dunbar did NOT want a contract extension or top of market $$$ from the #Redskins.
— Chris Russell AKA "The Rooster" (@Russellmania621) March 25, 2020
Here's what he wanted, per source -->https://t.co/L5UwH421Yu
Dear friends. This info hasn’t changed. The problem is the new contract TW is looking for... teams aren’t willing to pay for it. Redskins included. https://t.co/Ju2oScAIcm
— Julie Donaldson (@JDonaldsonNBCS) March 26, 2020
What. Is. Trent. Doing? He’s crushing his own career. Dude that could’ve been a HOFer is either STUPID stubborn himself or has a terrible agent. One of the two. Maybe both. #Redskins https://t.co/0FRhqN07L2
— Kennedy Paynter (@Kennedy_Paynter) March 25, 2020
So lemme get this straight… Trent's agent wants to 1) publicly rip the outgoing AND incoming #Redskins regimes, 2) get Trent released or traded to his destination of choice, 3) bank an insane contract at nearly 32, and 4) lobby for the Ring of Fame. Did I miss anything?
— Burgundy Blog (@BurgundyBlog) March 25, 2020
There's no problem, He either plays in B&G, lowers his salary demands to facilitate a trade, or refuses to report and loses a fortune while further diminishing his reputation and getting older by the minute. Play hardball Redskins.

Panthers voice Mick Mixon on new #Redskins QB Kyle Allen:
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) March 24, 2020
"I think the Panther brass regarded Kyle Allen, after a year of working with him, as a middle of the pack to second-tier No. 1."
Another OT for the Redskins. Agreed to terms Jeremy Vujnovich, per source. Started all 16 games for the Colts in 2017. In the mix with Lucas, Christian at LT it appears... @DraftDiamonds first.

The second episode of Amazon's 2018 show on the Panthers provided insight into Ron Rivera's stance on distractions. That's especially useful info considering Washington just dealt with one distraction and is in the middle of another. https://t.co/HVrQ5Uuxar

Redskins recap:
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 25, 2020
Trent Williams' agent releases statement, reiterating demand for trade/release. Will have little impact. Zero chance for release
Sign RB Peyton Barber; physical; more competition
Sign TE Richard Rodgers; more comp; 2 years of injuries; dad is asst DB coach here
Trent Williams is under contract. The @Redskins are under no obligation to release him especially since his reason is he wants more money @nflnetwork

“You’re either in or you’re in the way.”
— Matt (@WinningCuresAll) March 25, 2020
The issue for Trent Williams and the #Redskins has been, with him wanting top dollar for a LT contract, teams haven’t been willing to offer WAS top dollar as far as draft compensation. Usually, contract & draft compensation are comparable. But not on this deal.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 24, 2020
Left unsaid is Williams' contract demands are having an effect on his trade market. I'd heard he asked the Redskins for QB money last year (Was in the 3/9 MAQB: https://t.co/Q8jpaXzHCb).
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 24, 2020
He's a really good player. But if that's keeping Washington from getting a fair return ... https://t.co/96Lu4ij1ey
#Redskins have had talks with OT Jason Peters.
